regarding the confluence: I use retracements, external retracements and projection both of time and price but this is not the place... let's not dirty the 3D!
read the link written above....I also use a sequence of numbers that I start from maximums and minimums as you can see in the numerous real time examples

Hello oo7 your indicator is kool for my scalping gold please can you help to enhance it a bit further by adding 3horizontal lines displaying STOP at the bottom of the arrow ....ENTRY at the close of the candle above the arrow, and TAKE PROFIT at the close of the next candle, above the entry candle.Thanks

it is so interesting that there is an issue with my indicator printing arrows - so it will be either fixed or ditched before anything - so stay positive.

Yes it is very frustrating that it DOES NOT print the arrows and when you toggle the chart to higher time frame and back to original chart time frame, then you see an Arrow printed many bars ago and mysteriously it is a perfect entry.

Refreshing the chart as observed is also part of the tweaking needed cos as I opened another chart for the same gold timeframe from the one I posted the arrows has already placed and pinpoint another successful SELL trade, after the BUY trade.Anyway will be on the lookout for positive final tweaking . Even the bulb went through series of testing before it light to homes.

did I say that fibonacci projection is the HOLY GRAIL??? I simply asked if it was possible to build an indicator.....why don't you make all these considerations when other traders ask you to build other indicators?? anyway, patience...I keep my ideas and you keep yours...there are no problems....you've already helped me other times so I still have to thank you for the time you dedicated to me.

actually...I'm happy to see very few people using Time...it's better this way!!!!

Hi Guys.

I am trying to find an MA cross alert indicator for MT5 with the ability to use the Hull MA as at least one of the moving averages.
I am sure that one will exist somewhere but am really struggling to find this little needle in a huge haystack !!

I do, I have done that many times.
I have made my position on this topic clear.
And, from my point of view, I am only helping those whom I help, and others who are only observing, to realise what a waste of time and money indicators are.
I am hoping that the smarter ones will see that quickly.
The more naive and gullible will need more time to realise that indicators do not make a person a trader.
A real trader doesn't need any arrow-signals-flashing-lights indicators.
Or even time-based predictors.
A real trader simply knows what and when to do.
And doesn't create fantasies in their mind.
A real trader simply tredes and when they get a Stop Loss, they look for another opportunity.
They don't dwell on what they did wrong, and they don't look for answers why the price did what it did.
The price did what it did, because there was demand, or there was supply - there is no other reason.
And the trader never did anything wrong or right.
They only did what their strategy demanded that they do.

A horizontal line which is not a trendline doesn't require any extending, because it is always extended across the whole chart.
So, the solution is for you to learn to use trendlines as horizontal lines.
If you're having problems plotting a trendline exactly horizontally, go to the trendline properties and make the price values exactly equal.

Good day, can the coders write the following MQL5 EA for me please?

  1. When the 10 SMA crosses above the 20 SMA place a buy stop at the previous high of the previous candle.
  2. When the 10 SMA crosses below the 20 SMA, place a sell stop at the previous low of the previous candle.
  3. User customizable Stop loss and Take profit
  4. Buy stop and Sell stop- previous high or low + spread ie., the EA must read the spread of the asset from market watch
  5. If a buy/sell stop is triggered, then no further pending orders will be placed until active trade is closed.
  6. If price closes within the 10 and 20 SMA, then no pending orders. Price must close above the SMA for a pending order to be placed according to whichever side the crossover occurs.

Any assistance rendered, is greatly appreciated.
