Bones, if your scenario, is valid and plays right now, plays out fully the GU run to the upside can be much bigger. On my daily chart, Friday's close above the trend line (marked by a magenta arrow) confirmed a bearish butterfly in play With the target at point D @1.3448. Of course, we have smaller patterns in play below that level, too, which can hinder the advance. GU's failure to stay above the TL or 1.2723 invalidates the setup, although it can be only temporary.

A possible end of wave 5 in S&P 500 futures was reached. If it's true the test of 5500 level will follow.

The 30M chart shows abc correction. Target #1 is the end of AB=CD pattern @1.2775 if YL is taken out.

Afternoon update. Lucky me, the market cooperated nicely with my morning analysis, although only 1.2777 was reached so far.

GU made shallow wave 4, possible second leg down if 1.2834 holds firmly.

Hi, Mr coreg, currently flat on GU. Positioning myself on Gold, for shorts, hoping to make some $$$ by tomorrow.
The Support that Hold GU, could not perceive it at the time the market was in the zone. So didnt took the trade.

All T.A will look like a clown in front of news. Even F.Analysis sometimes looks like a clown in front of Economic data.

I copied the labeling from my gold futures chart. It doesn't mean this is the only way to label b/c we know that dynamic trend analysis often requires adjustment. Besides, we always trade what we see.
