How do you get the arrows to show like in your image posted by yourself? It doesn't show like that on my charts from different platforms.

Great indicator ... since there is no source code of this, could you please make a small modification, by adding a "multiply factor" to resistance & support lines (type double), so we can get a bigger/ smaller channel from its mid line ?

Why would you need a bigger channel?
You are missing the point of this tool.
The price will not adjust itself to the tool.
We need to adjust the tool to the price!

The wrench is only useful when it fits the size of the bolt or nut.
Otherwise you can use the wrench as a hammer, maybe?

When the chart is forming a bigger channel, that means there is no trend.
And when there is no trend, it's actually a stupid idea to trade.

PS. The tool is NOT designed to be a price range predictor!!!
This tool is designed to measure the average price weighted by volume (tick volume in this case).
Thus, it is designed to show the trend and possible swings.
This means, that the proper application of this tool is to follow the trend within 1 standard deviation.
Adding 2 and 3 standard deviations is pointless.

Good day coders, I have attached 2 indicators - HL_Objects.mq4 ("original version") and HL_Objects_revised.mq4 ("revised version").

According to the developer of the revised version, the original was not coded well (I have also experienced MT4 performance issues with the original from time to time). It is for this reason plus the fact that the revised includes some additional options that I prefer to use it however I would like to retain some 'look and feel' aspects of the original. Specifically, the following (from the original):

1. The formatting (colors, line thicknesses etc.) would be great as a 'default' with the flexibility to choose my own formatting for each period being a bonus.
2. The object naming convention.

See attached for further context.

Obviously, there is a clear difference.

Alerts work this way:
(Low[AlertBar]<UpperBand && High[AlertBar]>UpperBand) = Break Upper Band Alert
(High[AlertBar]>LowerBand && Low[AlertBar]<LowerBand) = Break Lower Band Alert

You find the best fit to the current situation, which means that you need a tool which allows you to anchor the VWAP where it fits best. And counting bars and inputting numbers of bars is not very user friendly.
This way you can get a hint where to watch for reaction of price.
So, if you are in Short, for example, and you see that the price is reacting at this level, you might want to close your transaction while it's still in profit.
If the price is breaking this support, you can hold on to your position.

wish for the MomPinboll.mq4 adjustable level and an alarm. When the indicator lines closes between the two adjustable levels lines there should be a sound alarm and
e-mail alarm. 3. examples :
1.examples : Indicator line closes between level 80 and 84 = alert
2.examples : Indicator line closes between level 61 and 68 = alert
3.examples : Indicator line closes between level 20 and 26 = alert
etc. etc. etc.

If anyone can add these functions that would be great

Master please this image is not against what you post, but just to bring understanding to what i mean
the white dunchian is from (dunchian _candles_ MTF_ wicks or bodies by Jeanlouie)in this case i chose wicks, and it borders the wicks
but with mode high true the wicks still breakthrough the dunchian, but with mode high false it shows more breakthroughs
if mode high is true it need to border the wicks to underline the new high/lows

I am looking for an mt4 or mt5 BPR indicator, balanced price range indicator with alerts, BPR is when there is an FVG to the upside and downside in the same price range. i.e. the price moves quickly to one side forming an FVG, takes liquidity and moves back above the FVG with another FVG. Image shows BPR in red and green boxes.

Your Indi undoubtedly has the advantage of adapting to the start of wave.
The one I use is mostly not to be understood categorically, but rather an invitation to go into the next deeper TF for more precise observations.
In addition, due to the differentiated audible signals, I can get to the right symbol immediately and don't have to spend time searching for where the bell rang.

If you need to refresh manually, this means that the indicator has a bug which stops it from working.
This bug can usually be seen in the log (Terminal -> Experts tab), and most often it is "array out of range" or "zero divide".
Sometimes, though, nothing is printing, but still one of the above is the bug.
MwlRCT offered a number of codes which force refresh everything by switching to another timefame and back to the original timeframe.
This is not always preferable, especially when using EA's.
So, the indicator should be fixed, or trashed if it can't be fixed.

The sound is absolutely no problem.
You install your sound file(s) in the Sounds folder which is in your MetaTrader installation folder (usually Program Files (86) ) and in the code you find
"PlaySound()" and then in place of the sound file ("alert.wav") you input your file name ("my_file.wav").
You just need to have very short sounds.
