EUR/USD finished the week with a substantial bullish candle, though it remains below a key resistance level at 1.0852. A successful break above this area could pave the way for a test of the monthly R1 and Fibonacci resistance levels around 1.0862/65.

Looking at support, the 1.0800/10 region seems to be a critical zone for maintaining the current bullish momentum. If this support holds, it may enable the bulls to push the price towards the 1.0900/16 area, depending on market sentiment and momentum.

Conversely, if the 1.0800/10 support gives way under significant selling pressure, we might see a decline towards the 1.0764/61 support level, with the potential for a further drop to 1.0740/45.

Weekly volatility (range) 81 pips

Option expiries for Monday: 1.0785 (EU1.77b), 1.1000 (EU711.8m), 1.0880 (EU490.8m) Source: financialjuice.com

How did you know this? And were you able to tell before the close last week that this would happen? Last week there was a nice gap up that netted me a few bucks, but I didn't see it coming, especially from the week before. FOREX is baffling me, even months later and after I couldn't even tell you how many hours of listening to all kinds of material and just trying my hand over and over. I'm close to giving up on this shit.

IG forex starts about an hour early before opening on Sundays. Not sure how or why but I see it every week.

EUR/USD opened down with a gap after all parties in French elections failed to get a majority. Later the gap filled but EU is still ranging below Fridays high at 1.0842. A rise above is opening the way for 1.0844/52 and 1.0862/65 resistance. Support comes lower at 1.0810/00.

Daily volatility (range) 37 pips

Option expiries for Monday: 1.0785 (EU1.77b), 1.1000 (EU711.8m), 1.0880 (EU490.8m) Source: financialjuice.com

I expected the gap, held the trades, looking at the imbalance between sellers and buyers, sellers were more so the gap opened below to create a balance and also to sweep all the stop losses of those who entered buy in the bull rally, Closed my trades with one hella lot profit in the gap lol

I think France elections had already priced in last week, opened with gap up and achieved whole week rally. Though no party get the majority, the NFP came out win most of the seats and new coalition between the left and centrist has already in sight. The markets expectation stay the same with UK elections.

thanks brother........I believe, EU has completed it correction on higher timeframe now it is start of an impulse wave to the downside and this may continue and stop at 1.0580.

Waalaikumussalam brother, I think so too Right now I have H1 Trendline support at 1.0800 and 1.079, I will wait for them to break, After that we have H1 FVG from 1.0771 to 1.0762 + H1 support Trendline... And now 44EMA is offering support!!

bulls are still bluffing yup the supports you mentioned are really important and they should be broken to change the market direction.

For this week, with all the eu elections gone, I have planned to buy dip. First levels to see is weekly M2 around 1.0766 (also lie monthly main pivot), if this failed, last levels is weekly M1 1.0706 (also lie monthly M2). Until those levels reached, I play on the bears side for now.
