Sometime it is announce whn fukoi is going to speak and it is usually right before that I was not able to find it thought someone else might of found it

Maybe at Fukui's speech. Not a big deal at the rate release. Of course, if comes out no-change as expected.

Question is whether or not Fukui is signaling a rate hike and when. As posted here before, a possible bottom to fish.

I'll be back by London open quickly before hitting the road for some (annoying) businesses out of town for the day

BOJ Governor Fukui expected to speak at 2:30am ET following the rate announcement.

I don't follow the gpb/jpy that much, but let me guess whats going to go down. The pair will range until the interest rate announcement at 6gmt, and if they dont change rates there will be a minor bullish movement until Fukui speaks then we going to see some fireworks? Most likely up?

Let me know if i am way off base.

as updated by cesar, the rate announcement in itself should not cause too much of volatility if it is as expected....after that, fukoi will make his speech where he is expected to indicate when the next rate hike is going to be....market expects it to be in september but we need to wait and see what he says...if he indicates that it would be in august itself, then the crosses are in trouble...

I'm not afraid of holding LONG for GJ.... I'm not NEWS trader but based on Elliot Wave Principle... Take a look at Monthly chart... now the wave is at WAVE 3. My target is 10,000 pips from now.. maybe less than 5 years???
