Can ChatGPT write code for MT4?

ChatGTP is woke crap, I wouldn't trust that invention with anything.

Yeah...new age voodoo magic. I'm not sold on this cellular technology yet either. Nor the internet. Or electricity for that matter. I can't see these "electron" things.....they don't exist!



Seriously though, it is only a matter of time before trading goes this route. Think about it: we can analyze a tiny subset of data. The ability to use "generic language" to say (bad example, but it's what is coming): "develop the most profitable trading strategy using moving averages to trade equity index futures". Boom. A mechanical trading strategy is spat out. We're not there yet (at least not that I'm aware), but eventually it will be "find me the most profitable strategy using x capital with x risk". Boom. Here's your program.

....the world will adapt to retain edge, but still, it's going to be a wild progression path.

The biggest hurdle is going to be those of us who wouldn't trust self-driving cars nor capital to some system that we didn't discretely construct.

In the end, you still need the knowledge to tell ChatGPT what to code or which trading ideas to compare/combine. The wording will be decisive. ChatGPT itself is just a tool and the people who use it still need to know how to use it. It is not comparable to a self-driving car. It is more like the invention of a chainsaw to cut trees more efficient than ever before.

It does work but is buggy something as simple as a ma cross it can spit out easy. Like many things it’s as good as you can articulate what you want.
