Trading the Cable swings via averages

Interesting how the H1 bull/bear support levels play an important part as zoo points.

I moved my stop to the daily pivot and got stopped out.

Seems to me to be a difficult level to pass. Still a nice profit for the day.

Keep at it guys. Still making silly trades but cutting them loose soon as I see they are not going to plan. Also missing opportune entry points due to work commitments and lack of screen time. I mean +5% is achievable with just 2 trades but still happy with any plus profit every week.

I see one of my problems, driven by all the years of traders telling me to buy low and sell high. This sort of works in a ranging market but what they neglected to add was "unless price bounces off the 26 EMA and keeps going up to a HH" making it a trending market. What I should be doing is shorting down to the EMA if there is enough room to BE and waiting to see if the EMA holds or not. Worst case is trade taken out at BE, A better result would be EMA getting broken and price crashing down to my target.
How many times have we bought on the EMA thinking its trending up and it starts going up to just fizzle out and crash down thru the EMA to a loss.
I have looked over this weeks ideal trades and in hindsight they are clear as day. I need to spot these trades better in real time.
1. Get rid of any bias in your mind, not easy.
2. H1 ZOO points identify.
3. Wait on the ZOO and see what price does.
4. Stick your trade on and get to BE soon as poss.
5. collect the 2% and walk away.

+1.3% today. That will do. Missed the drop down just before LO.

Before Alan mentions it. Yes I had the M15 target in mind but not so sure it will reach that point. Watching to see if it does get there tho.

Look what the daily is doing...

M5 and M15 bear support. H4 and Daily Bear divergence. Price heading for the H1 EMA. Target M15 last EMA swing. Lets see how it goes.

Last month was frustrating with a lot of BE's before price moved big.
This month not starting better with 2 stop outs.

Short may it continue.

That will do for the day, almost +40. half pip short at +39.4.
M15 showing divergence on the H4 EMA, time to go.

H1 Attempting a bear support candle. Might bounce off the EMA and keep going down. Might be able to jump back in again if it does.

Currently in a 20 pip range waiting for some movement either way will do.

Probably need news to move...

Seems like it's been waiting for news hugging the EMA. Been tough to trade.
