Hello again,

You will find the Metatrader template and required files here:

The bands/bollinger file is already in Metatrader 4, so you do not need to manually add it. Scrat.mq4 is a Linear Regression channel similar to the Standard Deviation bands, but it uses a different mean that is calculated in a best fit manner. Props go to scrat for pointing me to this, hence I named it in his (dubious) honor.

Vegas indicator files can be found on the respective thread here on FF, but I have slightly modified this one to remove the nasty sound alarms and comments.

Charts coming right up.

The template is coming up as a txt doc?? any ideas?

Not for me. It's stored as a tpl file, I just downloaded it again now. Is anyone else having this problem?

Ahh, I see the problem now..you guys are using internet explorer! You deserve to be summarily executed of course(there are better browsers in the world) , but anyway..

IE tries to get clever by looking at the contents of the tpl and when it discovers text it happily shows it to you, courtesy of Bill Gates. Just right click the link and Save as to get the original .tpl

right click on the link, download to metaquotes template folder (not the one under experts) enter metaquotes, right click, choose the Templates - load template option.

H4_full should appear.

If you left click on the web link, then you get a useless text file.

Yeah sorry about that, silly googlepages renames the files to remove spaces. Please download and rename it to the text in the link i.e:

Vegas Currency Daily.mq4

It is a naming problem. I edited the .tpl file and removed the spaces in the indicator name in the template file and this worked. Maybe the easier way is to rename the indicator Vegas Currency Daily instead of VegasCurrencyDaily.

Ok folks, I think all problems addressed now, anybody having issues with vegas see previous page for how to rename the indicator before putting it in the experts/indicator folder.

Now we're going to take this step by step, I will post some recent successful trades first, starting last week and working back over the past few months. After that we will see some unsucessful trades and stop/reverse ways of dealing with them.

If you are a newbie to the market, please spend some time demo trading and watching price action on H1 and H4 charts in order to gain insights on how the whole thing works. And by "some time" I mean a few months, not a long session in the bathroom. Charts are not independent entities, high-correlation pairs like EURUSD-GBPPUSD and USDJPY-GBPJPY should be watched together.

All traders please be clear on the fact that these tools only give us an idea of the overbought/oversold condition of the market, and that price action and strong news are drivers for our entries.
