this is all dollar selling which has translated to gold gains. uj is yet to fall. so if it starts falling I wonder what will happen. there are two possibilities now. break of 2400 will lead to heavy selling as profit booking will happen thinking 2420 was the top or it might take support and make new high. I am expecting profit taking considering the ferocity of this move

I would say your analysis is correct, looking at the dxy next week might be looking bearish for gold so stay on the lookout for shorts but keep in mind that gold can always just break out of that resistance level.
