TooSlow , it was not mentioned because it is a secret ingredient, but it is there.

3 is the difference between drinking Tito's Vodka or Grey Goose Vodka. I prefer Grey Goose and higher top shelf.

Interesting and honest thread. Before I pitch in, I just want to make sure that I have got some facts right...

You are 19 years old and have been trading 6 years?

You are looking for advice on guru's charging for advice OR you want to just figure out why you can move forward with your trading profitably?

How to move forward when you don't know where the market is heading to ? From where, to where and how far ? You're blind just like the 99% losers.

When you admit you don't know, only then you got a clear logical starting point. If you continue to pretend you know you're stuck like you are now. You're not the only one, 99% have the same problem. It's the ego issue.

The real question you should ask yourself is, how long do you intend to fool yourself with false knowledge gathered from YouTube, books and forums ? 8years and counting..... your choice.

Ok cool. Let's start with what you like to trade the most. Crypto? Forex? Commodities etc. And why do you like to trade that instrument?

Markets are manipulated by the bigger players, you have to learn how to deal with it.

i’ve found the mentor i did pay for his indicator and it seems to be profitable on backtesting.
I won't deny that all these videos, forums, and books have kept me in a cage, but advice like "stop being foolish," "you need to become rich if you want to be rich," and "if you want to be a professional trader, you need to become a professional trader" have also confined me. Such advice leads nowhere good, and most importantly, you always end up with solutions that no one ever offers on forums, even if you create a thread about your problem.
So, you're basically telling me not to address my problem, but just sit there and be clueless.

And by the way, it turns out I haven't been trading for 8 years but since July 2020, because before that I traded binary options, and binary options are complete nonsense. That's not even worth mentioning. Seriously, I started trading Forex, that is, when I finally got on the right track, in July 2020, so that's 3 years. But I also took many breaks because I had a lot of desires to play computer games, and I got very distracted from this business, so roughly speaking, subtract another half a year, and it makes 3 years. Three years is nothing in trading, I think. There's still everything ahead. Plus, you need to understand that on one hand it's best to start when you're already of age, and on the other hand, when you're young, if you start earlier it's supposedly better, but I don't think so. I think I would have been better off starting to trade around the age of 20, because I simply didn't understand all these trading concepts and most importantly how life works, how every mf wants to deceive you. If I had at least had an idea about this and hadn't been so naive, I think the losses of a few thousand that I have at this point from trading could have been avoided or at least significantly reduced.

I don't have the concept of trading just one thing. I trade everywhere. If there's a situation indicated by a indicator that has shown excellent results by the way, of course, i will enter. Btw that indicator is paid .We don't have anything good that's free. And once you have a strategy—though someone said that strategy isn't everything, and that you can make money without one—I heard such nonsense for the first time, and I'm still shocked by it. Because now that I have a strategy, all I need is proper risk management and psychology. Now that's what works, yes. Now his advice will work.

Hi dipappa, here's the math reason why you should not fade the extreme. Fading the extreme is a return to mean strategy. Since price is theoretically random the extreme stddev is unlimited with no orderly characteristic, therefore not possible to define.

Having said that, tape readers use volume data to determine the extreme point.

You are correct, Market is an Authority and Price will do whatever Price will do. It is a Chaos. There is only one thing that works in chaos, it is in my answer, post 80.
