thks BTE, I try to keep is atleast 1.1:1 sometimes +2:1 (lucky?). but RR alone is not enough knowledge to be in consistent profit IMO

With the Universal EA, could you add an option to enter using Optimized entry.
When I have a signal at H1 bar, the bar close, and the signal arrow is stil there when new H1 open, then i want to enter at the 0.62 level of the prior H1 candle (the one got the signal), and not at the new candle open.

Yes, you're correct.
Such a low RR requires a high W/L ratio.
And that's Your problem.
That's why you are looking for a high Win system.
And that's not the right way to go.
The right way to go is to have at least 2:1 and much more when the trend hits!
Because even a 99% Win ratio can be a losing account.
One trade can eat all the profits, and more.
That's why we need to exploit trends, and make the profits there.
This is no secret, and there are calculators, spreadsheets, and even online strategy simulators which show us the facts.
Also you can study how we can use the Kelly Criterion.
The problem with most losing traders is always the same:
- they lose the Win opportunity by getting out early,
- they can't get out of losses, because they can't accept the fact of losing,
- and they lose the Win opportunity by getting out early.
And that's a vicious circle.
This is the normal human nature...
And that's why only a small percentage are overall profitable, because they have the ability to be not normal.

there is no point in committing to writing a new bot. Too much work has gone into this area and at a high level. Robots are good, some are universal, but they don't last when going out of range and entering a trend. There are many such bill killers here in this factory and everywhere. I think that in this area the water heating is over. Just type in the search engine "martingale ea" and choose one. Prepare $50K with minimum input of 1 tool and you can expect 20-30% per year with 80% MDD. Be very careful with them.

I trade M30 and h1 it sounds simple to let profit running and cut loss early, and I did try with a lot of e-trail, trai SL by prior candle shadow, trail by ATR, trail by EMA , trail buy step, convential traiing, simply can not stay in the trend. with lot size 2% sometimes I made already $100, so I was sure to let the trade running "with the trend", to find later in the day I was hit Sl with a loss (I did not use BE because many times price went down near SL then went back in the expected direction), if use trailing then I got kicked out and got about only 1/3 1/2 of potential win $100 move. The worse offender is MT4 trail stop, I dont really how that MT4 is designed for Eu I used 30points, for gold i use 400 point and still get not even 1/2 at best of the potential trend move

Hence I come back on the optimized trade entry ICT teaching,either i got the tradee i want to lose 1$ to make +2$, or i prepare to miss the trade

One more way I can is at the new candle open enter with half the lot size, wait for price retest the .82 level of the prior candle, whhich has got the signal. So that I make less profit but wont miss the trade. I can not find any trade manager, EA (source provided) doing that way. I can hope that one coder on this thread would help to realize that 2 steps entry, or at least entry in retest the OTE level (for me if price did follow the signal, that is the closest of a breakout-nd-retest model hence I adhere to it religiously), and just pray

what else is the right way to do....

The Tom Dante option is in the first input option in the settings, a drop down list. There is no equals used in the Tom Dante setting, only greater or lesser than.

Greetings. Yes I have been messing with martingale for the longest time maybe 5 years already. I have finalized a working strategy and that’s why I am asking for a more specific robot that suits my strategy. Many things are involved whether a strategy works or not. That includes trading instrument( fx or index and also spread), time of trade, over trading, RR, etc. that’s why I finally decided to ask for a robot. Thanks.

it is great that the author provide the source for such universal EA the only problem is to get the buy sell buffer filled in correctly ...Could you pls check carefully the buffer no for buy sell ,,, have disturbed feeling is it not opposit to the indicator buy sell buffer? it does not place order where buy sell signal is

few years ago I came across some strange coders who believe red is great (like communist) red is a lucky color so for them, red is moving up, trade in profit.... pls check just to be sure this design is not one of those craziest

if u have read properly my requirements, you would have notice I specifically asked for the robot to stop after x number of losses. To prevent Huge DD. I may even try reverse martingale after hitting a certain drawdown. I choose A Specific timing that has higher chance of hitting TP. Reason why I ask for a robot is because price sometimes moves faster than my fingers can click.

I advise you to outline your strategy as a whole to see in which part and what progression you need, because if I understand correctly you want a martingale as a type of exit but under certain conditions and until then try with joancb's robot - the small martingale. Use clock as login time. There are also 4 grid levels. Good luck

Maybe don't trade non-trending instruments???
Definitely DO NOT pray because praying is a waste of your time and waste of emotions.
The instrument you are trading is not going to do what you want, no matter if you pray or not.
Generally, the idea of enterinmg on pullback is a good one - theoretically.
However, practically you want to enter when the price is actually going in the opposite direction.
Which means that you will, most likely, get more Stop Losses - so then you will need a much bigger RR than 1.1:1.
Following the dots - we need to figure out how get RR of 5:1 or even 20:1.
Also, we need to realise the fact that the true RR is in our trade history statement, not on the charts!!!
And so is our W/L ratio - in our trade history - not on the charts!!!
As long as we demand to get our RR and W/L from the chart, we are just dreaming, or seeing things which aren't really there.
YOU are The Trader!
YOU are The Source of Success or Failure!
YOU need to make it happen - not the chart!

PS. I once knew a trader who traded only one setup called The Quasimodo Pattern.
When he saw this pattern, he plotted a grid of Pending Stopo Orders with a fixed TP level for all of them.
The Stop Loss was also fixed but in money.
And when this setup triggerd, he didn't touch anything.
I even saw this live.
He was 4000 EUR in profit, yet his TP was 6000 EUR.
He didn't touch it.
He lost 300 EUR on this trade, because the price didn't reach his TP.
But he wasn't sad about it because he knew he would make money the next time.

Of course, that's one way to do it.
