I need desperately support of one patient coder, more now than before you help me found that source code, because I saw what this group did wrong and nobody in that group in that period pointed out their fundamental flaws If those posters are still around I like to work with them. sent email but not much hope.

" access to future data" I think they use that big word for the current candle, and later candle, which weights in the calculation of an indicator, hence causing the recalculation/repainting/lagging behaviour. "Future data" here is not datas of a Future's instrument.

I think they mean with "a insensitive on influence of future datas", that you must stop the calculation before "today candle", must not include the current candle into your averaging calculation, but then you must inctinctly revaluate the signal different:
1/ beside avoiding printing too many repeating arrows (which would cause repeated non-sense trade openings)
2/ Have to build in pre-caution for a sudden opposite spike, before printing the signal arrow
3/ be aware you have to wrangle to get to the right signal, you would more likely get wrong signal. Hence the indicator is more complex to be coded as you need to plan the signal, confirm that there is one, then tell to trade the signal in the right way) -not like if seeing STOC OBOS then light up the filter that you would be alright to sell/buy on markets like TSLA, BTC, GOLD, EU, UJ, EJ, AU was in a state of OB or OS and stayed so for days for weeks for months

Because it would require more complex coding before giving a useful signal, ppl tend to look other way, well the nature of trading is 50/50, unless one would do the different template....

Need indicator-snake line with width 1 to 8, colour, not moveble to right and left that means snake as price but now move to right left only on choose period bars (from A to B), from bar A to bar B (for example: 147 to 35), price is change, hide and show vertical lines by bar A and by bar B for mt4 and mt5

2/ something is not right .... We allow no equal condition in the rule even 1 point must be acounted for. there is no coincident of 1 point difference in trading FX the algo can do it easily, pulling wool over your eyes for its tricks

Dear Best Trader EV,

Firstly, allow me to apologize for the bad picture copy.
You said the following: "To create an EA which only looks at the Step MA Crosses is a very easy task."
So as the Guru I would rather you complete the EA than to still wait on my Son for his file.
I like your idea of using the Stepma_shashken indicator cross for all the entries; which means I can trade from cross to next cross.
The only thing is where does the EA take profit(just before the next cross?) so there will be a lot of crossings in a consolidation, but then one can look forward to some nice big moves in a trend up or down.
Please also add in a choice of lot size...I plan to trade mostly on the 1H and 4H; if you recommend another timeframe for best profitability then I shall follow that.
I look forward to this EA to make a difference in my trading future.
Thank you again for your selfless service to add to the greater good.

No, this does not work this way!!!
I will not build a strategy for You!!!
If you want any help, You must define the strategy!
You must define exactly the Entry and Exit pionts, and whatever else it is that Your strategy requires.
I can code Your idea into an EA, if I feel like doing it, or not.
This is how this works.

I feel that I need to comment on your requests:
You are wasting your time on chasing dreams and fantasies.
Do you know that what you are showing will be different for each broker, and it can even be different on another trading account at the same broker?
There are no fixed, universal quotations for CFD instruments, and what you are trading are all CFD's.
Prices will differ from broker to broker.
One broker may not offer the price that another broker will offer.
Also, one broker will have different Liquidity Provider(s), thus different candles will be visible.
And another thing is the broker's servers' timezone.
You think that there is some secret, hidden rule, that nobody before you had noticed.
And, as you say, you want to reinvent the wheel...
I guarantee you that there are and have been much, much better coders than any one of us, here, real mathematicians, who
are getting paid big money to work on trading alorithms for big banks and institutions.

My advice for you is to stop wasting time on something which is only in your imagination.
Concetrate on trading and money management.
Understand that when You lose a trade:
1. it's NOT because You made a mistake, and
2. it's NOT because an indicator showed the wrong signal, and
3. it's NOT because there is some fundamental flaw in anybody's reasoning.
It's because the price took out Your Stop Loss.
And there is no way You could have predicted that before the fact!
And You will always find a post-factum explanation why You should have predicted it!
And Your Stop Loss is what You already accepted as Your potential Loss before You even placed the SL Order.

If You can not accept any Loss, if You can not afford any Loss, if You are unable to make more Profit over Loss,
you, most likely have to give up trading, at least until You can accept and afford Losses.

1. Simple trend trading strategy using the Stepma_shashken indicator crosses.
Uptrend Entry: green crosses red then exit, when red again crosses green.
Downtrend entry: red crosses green then exit, when green again crosses red.
Stoploss: NO STOPLOSS.

I didn't provide this indicator!
I just added a button to it upon request!
If someone asks to add a button, I don't check if the indicator works or not.
I just add a button and I check if the button works as it should.
Additionally, I do not experience what you are showing in the video clip.
This indicator doesn't plot current open trades, only historical trades.

And, also, I don't use this indicator because I have my own for this purpose.

I don't think that you are "testing" the indicator in this way.
You are adjusting its parameters to fit the chart which is already there.
And that is not testing the indicator!
By adjusting the parameters to what you already see you create a false impression that the indicator will work the same way for the future.
And that is false, and that is called confirmation bias.
The fact that we can adjust the parameters to work on a specific segment of historical charts does not make the indicator a good one, or a reliable one.
We can do that for any indicator which allows us to change the input parameters.
And this proves nothing about the reality which will happen in the future - unfortunately.

Make sure that you input all the correct parameters into the EA!
The correct name of the indicator!
The correct Buy/Sell buffers!
The Buy buffer is 3.
The Sell Buffer is 4.
And select Symbol/arrow for both directions, because those are the signal buffers the EA is going to use.
The arrows, not the lines.
And finally make sure you set up all the rest correctly.

3. Test on Demo accounts!!!

PS. In case you didn't know, the StepSizeFast, StepSizeSlow parameters are the distance of the "slow" MA from the "fast" MA in price.
So, 0.0015 will mean 15 pips for any 4-5 digit price instrument.
This means that if you want to use the indicator with this EA on a different instrument, you need to adjust the default parameter in the code.
if you don't do that, the EA will work on the defualt parameters which will not be correct for those different instruments.

Hi! I’m looking for someone to help me program a martingale robot on mt4. Hopefully I can find help here. I want the robot to be able to start trade at a certain time or click start manually (trade at high successful timing only). When robot starts, trade buy (regardless of slippage) when it goes up a certain pips from start with specific stop loss(settings) Trade sell vice versa… with each loss, next trade is 1.3 or 1.5 higher (settings). Stop robot(trade) after certain number of loss (settings). Stop robot after TP is hit. Able to set starting pip size.
