GBP/NZD Counter Trend Trade

In M15 it was a counter trade but in H4 its possible to notice that in this region the MMs would be able to fill cheaper long orders for the SMs

Dragon Centerline Drift Significance

As prices rise and the Dragon rises, you can see the Dragon centerline (candle Close Prices) eventually drifts up towards the Dragon top line (candle High Prices), and then eventually reverses and begins to drift away from the Dragon top line. This is simply showing you the period when closing prices of orders came closer to the highest candle price. This is the period when SM (Smart Money) was getting the overall best prices on their orders to SELL.......("Buy low, sell high!").

The reverse is true when the Dragon falls and you see the Dragon centerline drift towards the Dragon bottom line (candle Low Prices) and eventually drift back away, showing the period when SM was getting the overall best prices on their orders to BUY.......("Buy low, sell high!").

This might be seen to some extent on every little swing of the Dragon up and down on any timeframe chart. When you see this, don't get too excited because there could be more swings coming as price manipulation progresses..........HTMRW.

Long GBP/USD

First entry above the Dragon, the entry was in profit pretty much straight away and for a period of 25 minutes, then price retraced back to the 100 EMA to collect some more contracts.

I should have adjusted the SL on that first entry or close with profit just to avoid the trade going from green to red (hence why as soon as PA went back to near my first entry, I closed the trade with very small pips, to cut risk and let the 2nd entry run alone).

Closed at the half level and done for the day.

Hi SaucyMoney...!
I want to ask one thing that is "How can you say that the price retraced to collect some more contracts?" As, there is no notable PVA candles or Volume at all in the chart.

Hi RedEagle,

I agree we don't see PVA candles on the 5 or 15min.

However, if you go on the 1 minute time-frame, which was the time-frame I used for my 2nd entry, you will see that there is plenty of PVA candles just below and right on the Dragon.

Thanks for your precious time and reply.

Basically, I was bearish in this pair today.
(In my life routine, it is somewhat difficult for me to trade in London Session. So, I see the chart whenever I found time)

I opened short on seeing some small increase in activity above 1.24500...! some better views in M5 as well.

Then I closed it after getting 25+ pips on LS Open with some activity (may be they was insterested to grab some liquidity)

That's a good trade, you caught pretty much the High of the Day in the Asian Session.

However, if you notice, PA is currently remaining above the Dragon on the 1h and was consolidating just around the 200 EMA as well, that's why I was bullish and saw that big W.

Now that it's breaking out, I think GBP/USD might be bullish for the next couple of days and go for the 1.25 mark minimum... will see.
