Mr. Bot likes the 30 min. window and RSIFive thresholds of 80/20.
I ran twelve currency pairs and had nearly all winners. It nicely filtered out the weak movements. Pound/dollar was a loss.
About 10% increase in equity. It would have been more, had I widened my Trailing Stop from 22 to ? 30. Glenn

Glen,

Can you keep track of all the trades on all the pairs so we can see which this is most successful on?

Sinclap: The robot is ready, but still in the testing phase. Barcode (Bob) has a download for you at post # 2475. I sent you a private message.

Bago: see PM, please. It is working well on a bunch of pairs.
Euro/dollar; dollar/franc; Euro/yen; Pound/yen; Euro/pound; pound/franc;
Euro/jpy; Euro/Aud.
Losers have been pound/dollar and dollar/yen; not sure why.
I think the Aud/dollar will be good; I have brought back the Cad.
I am currently running all twelve pairs, in hopes of a nibble here, a nibble there.
My 30K demo account grew by over 3k overnight, even with the losses.
The 80/ 20 enters later, but filters out a ton of head-fakes.
The pound/yen will be good, if I can prevent the TS from triggering.
I suspect that someone with skill will be able to optimize each pair.
Glenn

Here's my results for this week. I use MT4 so I'm not trading the 10 Minute chart. I'm still using the 1 hour method and confirming on the 30min and 15min before entering the trade. Sometimes, I also consult CCI for additional confirmation

Hi Que,

Did I miss out something? I loaded the new Bulls eye to compare with the older one. Seems like it's not indicating any "bulls eye"s?

Thanks

Hi KC

That's very impressive. Can I ask you are you trading the 12/5ema cross with the 14/5 RSI set at 80/20 ? Apart from CCI any extras ?

Thanks

You probably just added it to chart and did not change any settings. The default setting use SMA 5 and EMA 8 with an RSI 5 crossing the 70 or 30. The readme tells how to set it up. The Bullseye is there.

I am using a straight RSI(21). When I get a fresh cross on the 1 hour chart with good angle and separation (for you 4XME fans) on the 5/12 EMA and the RSI crosses the 50 line (with good projection), I drop down to the 30 min and 15 min charts for confirmation. I am also looking for +75 on the CCI. I do pay attention to trends, projected daily highs, lows, pivot points... general chart reading stuff. I joked about the 4XME, but I did use that for about 2 years, but was never consistently profitable. But one thing I have done is painted the 5ma green and the 12MA red. Kinda makes it all look familiar and I can relate to it better when I am looking to pull the trigger on a trade. I own my own retail business and am very busy, so I can't sit in front of the computer for long (except for the evenings... that's when I do my chart reading) I know I miss a lot of trades and I close a lot of trades way early if they stall for very long. BUT, I have netted over 1000 single lot pips in the last two weeks and I have never been in the black like that with this high of a positive pip percentage. And I have been learning this market for almost 3 years! I hope this is not just a fluke and I've finally hit on something I can hang my hat on!
Thank you, Bags!

Your results to date are BRILLIANT ('Awesome' if you're US based!)

A few questions please;

What time zone are you in... or what times of day do you trade given the restrictions imposed by your business?

Which time scale do you run the actual trades on, the 1 hour? (The others are for confirmation only?)

What levels do you set your SLs?
You results are from single lots only?

I've moved to the 10 min using exactly the methods you describe (inspired by the exellent posts here from "strada") with some succcess at last but it's tough watching the screen full time so a longer timeframe appeals-assuming it works as well.
Continued success to you.

Thanks in advance
