Hello everyone!

I have been studying the valuable information that is shared in this thread for a while and I wanted to share something I recently found with you all, perhaps it can help other people. Nowadays, I'm leaning more towards trend following, but it's curious indeed that the attached indicator (Peak) can help identify reversal points (specially if we wait for the extreme indicator to give a signal, so the peak itself is filtered). Im happy to read your feedback, perhaps it will help me as well to understand if we can use it in a different or more creative way. After all, as it is stressed here: indicators are only meant to indicate something that happened already, the best one its price (at least imho).

Hi Xinitial,

I'm not the creator of the indicator so I'm not too familiar with it; nevertheless, what I do with it is to wait for either the green (for buys) or red (for sells) lines to go above the levels (blue horizontal lines in the indicator) in fact i add another line (set at 40) then once an extreme spike is painted (either on the same candle or really close to it) i will then look for the next HA of the relevant color (in my case white for buys and black for sells). I just wanted to share to see if people find it useful or to see if there are more creative ways to use it. In general, it's a counter trend setup.
