missed the morning session. Waited all afternoon for this. 1 hour highest open, 5 minute opens above the highest open, price passes through sell short

Who is taking the 10 trade challenge the week of March 24, 2024?

During the challenge, you are only to trade the same pair.

Currently, it's set to 0:00 in my local time zone. However, I'm contemplating changing it to "5:00 America/New York," which would mean that the new day candle would open at 9:00 am here in the UK. Do you think this change would be beneficial, allowing me to start monitoring the market in the morning? Alternatively, would it be better to leave it at 0:00 in my local time zone and observe market movements from midnight (when I'm usually asleep) until morning, marking the highest open and lowest low on the H1 timeframe. Thank you!

Hi Johny, I know how hard it is to start in trading business. I can tell you to your question: It doesn't really matter because the high/low is most time the same, even if you take different times. And even if it is different the outcome in the end is not that big difference... One more tip: Concentrate on pairs with low spreads. This is needed for that strategy. cheers

I trade new york session 8 am est to lunch - sometimes ill trade the last two hours of the session 2-5 but this depends on my schedule. I look mainly at the instrument NQ, I have been trading this system for more than 10 years, its great

What's next? Let's see... it's 15 minutes to the next hour, we are below the lowest 1 hour open. I think I will wait until the new hour comes and see if the lowest one hour open shifts. NQ
