The market will do what it wants, and the "normal level" is price at the exact time it is at.

Just because you think it should be in that range does not mean the rest of the market does.

Infact, price action right now pumping $40 to 2220 should show you exactly that.

Why are you shorting an aggressively bullish market? FOMC was extremely dovish and that has completely shifted sentiment for where gold should go over the next few weeks. Incase you don't understand what that means, it means UP.

When the price is in known territory, it will move slower and more chill because it has support and resistance all over the place to keep it in check. When things break all-time highs, there are no supports or resistances, so all of the moves are very erratic, and candles can be shenanigans. Be aware as we travel into new territory, we will move in similar candles to something like Bitcoin
would. Obviously not talking about the same size moves, but as far as being erratic, that's what you can expect from any instrument in new territory.

I thought about that day as well but it sold off hard after that happened and I don’t expect anything like that this time. Retracement’s are healthy for this market but I don’t expect them to be big.
