Long in progress on EURUSD for now I can see the Quarter Level region at 750 as a likely target but given the context (due to it already being Friday) I believe I will only see the result of this next week

GJ Short Play

GJ has been rising for quite some time, and since February 15, it has been bouncing off the 50 EMA on the 1-hour timeframe. We notice that since February 27, the price has been consolidating in a range, so it is up to us to decide if MM are building longs or shorts.

Under my analysis, I concluded that the MM was building short positions in this range. The first thing I paid attention to was that MM had been raising prices for a long time, and eventually, they had to make a run in the opposite direction to profit from the previous positions. Nevertheless, we don't know WHEN they will make this run for profit.

The biggest clue for me was the two candles I denoted with a pink arrow. These are red vector candles that strongly break the 50 EMA. GJ has been respecting the 50 EMA for a long time, and for the first time, it started to show signs of weakness. I also noticed that we already had two hits above the 191.000 zone with vector candles, which made me believe that MM filled shorts at the highest possible price. Finally, we can also notice that the last three pushes to the upside (from around February 21 to February 26) can be considered climatic moves that would induce retail traders to go long.

Given these confluences, I decided to start building shorts with a relatively small size. We can also observe that MM has been hitting the lows below the 190.500 zone; therefore, they may not be done consolidating in that range and may even extend the high before dropping. I placed more orders in the consolidation zone that never got filled since the price dropped during today's Asian session, granting me profit on 2 orders for 75 pips. Happy days!

Short in progress on USDCHF, considering that the price was consolidated for a short time, I am considering it possible for it to return to the range again and stay there for a while longer, perhaps until next week (since today is Friday), always remembering: we will never be able to find out what the MMs did next...
