Hmmmm.... But why 2044 without at least one number of those that are after the dot? So 20440 and also why only the +2 or -2???
I mean all the half cycle and so on? All those that have with the number nine like 45 degree of a cycle and 90 degree and 180 degree and 270 and 360 degree.
I mean all these seems to be also good levels to have in mind for swing trading or day trading.

So, any Gann fan please as you can see that I have collected many info out of the Internet and trying to work through them. May be I am absolutely not in the correct way. So I need you to help explaining this to me. All I look around seems to not be willing to share knowledge about this topic. Ironicly even Googles ai Gemini. I am used to ask it about anything and it rarely disapoint. It is always so talkative. Even when I tell it to explain for me the technical patterns and Candlestic. As you all know they are visual presentations of the prices, but Gemini does a very and wonderful job when I ask it to tell those in a manner so even a blind will understand them. It begins to tell a story and make examples and similarities so I can understand them.
But when it comes to Ganns and his theory and especially the Nine square look how it went silent:

hmmm, you are the one who used 2044 in your example and the result when using -2 was 1987
you should ask youself why did you use 2044 and why is the result 1987

but I guess you are more focused on asking new questions instead of learning from mistakes you made

Thanks. I meant more of when I have decided 2044 as a price for gold, then when finding the square root will be by moving one number of those after the comma, and find the square root of it and then multiply it with itself and of course divide it back to 10 so I can get the correct format of the price for the new found level.

That is what I found some guides and t tutorials that claim that. And I asked to find out if I was wrong or correct in my way.

And excuse me all of what I am asking about here is about Gann and his theory. Nine square, time cycles, price and time together squared and so on.
All this about Gann. And as I stated in my last message that seems no one that can explain this to me so I can understand the ideas behind them.
As mentioned in my previous posts, I'm eager to understand Gann's theory, which incorporates numerical and time-based market analysis. While I think I grasp the concept of the Nine Squares, I might be misunderstanding it completely. My current information could be entirely inaccurate, which is why I'm reaching out to anyone knowledgeable and willing to share their understanding of this theory. All of it and not just Nine Square or incomplete part of it. But hopefully all the necessary information that is possible

But so far, nothing has proven to me that I can simply adopt a mathematical approach and lay my head on my pillow, satisfied, waiting for the profits to roll in after they ask for my permission. Everything I've done has had the possibility of both losses and winnings. So, back to the starting point: probabilities, and again, probabilities.
I just now want to understand Gann's work, or at least what I can understand of it, in the hope of constructing something I can use.
Nine square, the square of 144, the square of 52, time cycles..... Hmmmm, All of these seem to be Gann theory. Still complicated, but hoping there are folks out there that have the knowledge and are willing to share. Or?????

Think about value of that kind of discovery, then think if it’s likely to be available by a quick Google and theres your answer.

if you don’t mind me saying I think it’s important to play to your strengths. You will obviously find chart reading hard. so why not focus on what you can do; stock picks based on. fundamentals for eg?

That is the real problem. If it was so easy to just pick up then we will have found all using it and get rich with milions and bilions of dollars. Or get the Market broken because all trading with same methodology so the Market get broken. You have to found loosers in order for others to win.
So, because of its complicity and likely controversy I wrote here in the hope of finding helpful souls that will explain at least the logics behind these idea so I can find out if I can use them to anything or not.


Fundamental???? How can it be put in a working trading strategy???????? Is it possible or again another probability fifty-fifty and more likely 70% losses - 30% profits path?
Fundamental — I just told you. Jump over to a stocks site, not here though.

Gann never published his strategy, only intimated it. Had a sharpe that’d measure over 20 if the accounts can be believed. Predicted both time and price, left a series of clues in the original text TTTA. Most professionals think he was a retail shilling fraud nowadays. I don’t … but read around and see what you think.
The biggest issue about Ganns theory and methods is that so many people say so many different things that you can not be sure if it is true or not. Now to clerify this hopefully there are some of you that know for sure about his theory that will share your knowledge with me?

I was a part of a group of traders a long time ago.. when we would have an amazing trade (they were all 1:1 R:R) that would go in to profit immediately and look like a 1:10 R:R.. we would apply these crazy concepts or silly indicators to our analysis and post just to confuse the hell out of everyone. In reality we never used any indicators but would sell products and complex ideas like this to new traders as a sick joke... until the threads in our forum like this would outnumber the real 'naked' trading threads.

My favorite was Moon and Planetary cycles as to why the trades worked out. Just wanted people to get outside and stare up in the sky.

I know it wont make much sense.. but trade entry level doesnt matter. Ive ran through countless scenarios.. buying at support.. selling at support.. both are the same. You want to win more trades than you lose.. trade at a 0.9R-multiple.. or any below 1. This will guarantee your winning streaks will be greater than your losing streaks. It won't make a profitable strategy, yet. Then employ proper trade management. Ie; if a trade goes against you, trade more & larger in the original direction.

Unfortunately, you'll have to risk more than you plan to make but compounding those wins will boost profitability high enough to combat the inevitable drawdown. There's no shortcuts or secrets to trade profitability. Just don't give the counterparty an advantage by trading a single trade a 1:3 R:R or something silly.
