"DOWN" HOME SITE UPDATE!

First, I thank those that replied their status. Now, some good news.

Our site IT guy, "mja", who has done....and continues to do....whatever IT stuff needs doing, is on the case! Busy as he is, he might not be able to address it until Wednesday. But it will be fixed!

Sometimes we look around and wonder.....are people all going mad, greedy or outright evil? Are there any "kind folks and critical thinkers" left? But, in good time we learn the Good Lord has indeed left some very fine folks amongst us (God Knows....we need them!).

It's a very minor issue and there's no virus. It is the website's certificate that is expired. It uses lets encrypt which is free and open source. let me know if you need further advice

Thank you, Jonderitu! It is very kind of you to jump in and offer assistance (a nicer world if more folks were like this). BTW, what did you click on to bring up the Certificate Viewer?

"mja" has it so I can login without use of my password. Haven't used it in ages. Not even sure where I put it. And at my age, looking for it would be like looking for a hot date that is still willing........

Just kidding, but let's allow "mja" to address this. I do not even know how to enable someone else to access the site's innards. And doing so in advance of the plan "mja" has would be disrespectful.

You are indeed, a very kind person. It is nice to know you now, and a comfort to me should your assistance be needed in the future.

AUD to Strengthen...?

AUD High Impact Releases.....2 of them.....come in the early Asian Session of the Thursday market day. Will MMs use these HRs as a catalyst to increase AUD pricing?

Looking at various items involving AUD, to me it appears at this early time, before the HRs arrive, that AUDCAD is most attractive. There is time for this to "bottom" again on the H1 chart (Double Bottom) and bounce up very bullishly in response to these HRs.

We cannot ever know in advance how the MMs will move prices, but to me this looks to have "bear to bull transition" potential.......re-hit H1 chart recent lows, and bounce! Could be some trading both ways, here. As always, please do your own due diligence.

There are 7 High Impact Releases yet to come this week on Thursday and on Friday. And this is only the tail end of Tuesday! Only question is........are the MMs going to pass up this great opportunity to hit the record high.......AGAIN.......?

.........or maybe even bump it a bit more? RMH is only 68 pips further on up........only about 214 pips from the current pricing. How far can an item with a Day Range of 116 pips move in 3 days.......if the MMs decide it will?

There is an excellent opportunity here for the MMs to set up for a SHORT SQUEEZE......and with maybe even a NEW RECORD HIGH! We cannot ever know what the MMs will do with PA, so please do your own due diligence......as always.

Not strictly on topic, but since @traderathome likes to collect stories of cheating MM behavior, here's one: I use OANDA in the US. This morning I had three trades in on EU, GU and GJ, respectively, when the 8:30 AM US 'red flag' results were announced and the MM programmatic whipsaw ran. I noticed my trades were no longer on the terminal 'Trades' window and went to inspect the 'history' window. They were DELETED - not stopped out by the whipsaw, but deleted. I looked at the charts in M1 timeframe, and all three would have hit their twenty-pip TP.

WTF?!

Well, your "picture" is too damn small to even read! .....even when "enlarged". How do you expect it to contribute to your post?

As for "suddenly missing" trades......what EXACTLY.....has OANDA said about this. Have you even asked them yet? To me, THAT seems a worthy "first step" to take, especially before suggesting they have defrauded you.

Please, now that you have brought this up, follow thru and let us know the outcome.

BTW, I doubt I have ever accused the MMs of "cheating behavior", simply because there are no rules against what they do (control price). I think I have only accused them of having a "license to steal", and being very good at it. Besides, OANDA is not an "MM", right? It is not a market making bank, right? It is just a brokerage, right?

Call them. Talk with them. Let us know.

Analyzing the chart with the help of PVSRA, at time of m15, M30, H1. (I didn't understand the MMs game). Now checking H4, the Dragon indicator. The most likely thing is that the price will return to the Dragon zone. We don't know where the MMs will take the prices, be very careful, always use Stop and never enter heavily into negotiations, it depends on your Capital and risk management.

EURUSD.... Bull or Bear?

"The most likely thing is that the price will return to the Dragon zone." NOT NECESSARILY anytime soon......depends on the TF chart!

Check lower TF (like M30, etc) and you'll see that "higher green volume" is while PA simply ranged above a whole level. Could be MMs processing SM "close shorts" orders. But also could be MMs processing another stage of SM "Sell more!" orders!

Can check higher TF Week chart, which is not bullish and which shows RWL and RML both above last significant low. Trends remain stacked and angled bearish. PA might be headed down to RWL and RML, with or without a brief bullish liquidity creation measure to give MMs renewed liquidity to fill more SM sell orders.

Yes, anytime, the MMs can stage a bullish move....or a bearish move.....for or against whatever TF trend there is. We cannot ever know....not for sure. Assume nothing. Trade only what you see. Trade light relative to equity. Wait for the various means of clues to yield consensus, or at least the feeling of "best odds based on all votes".

For now, it could be continuing lower this month. But, yes, a bullish move could yield some pips. It depends. How good a setup? Then, how brief....how far?

The picture enlarges when you click it, just like the charts. It shows the trades being canceled at 8:30:01 AM EST.

OANDA replied this morning. They said that they had canceled the trades because they would have resulted in an immediate SL (which I normally set at twenty pips). After reviewing my own records, I note that they have been happy to take my money this way in the past. Now, there has to be some latency going from their on-premises MT4 server to their in-house execution engine, so I am moving towards the conclusion that they couldn't keep up with the whipsaw. I have asked them whether using their proprietary desktop or web-based client would have provided a better result. One wonders if a Python-based approach with their API would have been faster to execute.

Losing money because I misread the market is on me. Missing profit in this way is infuriating.
