M5 Scalping Strategy (S&D|FVG)

There's one KEY component to the system that has not been mentioned that I will update on main thread.

You must use HTF (H1,H4, or Daily) FVG's to understand where the market wants to go. The market will always fill these gaps eventually, and with this knowledge we can create powerful directional biases.


Here's a perfect setup from today I took, and hope you can learn from it. I saw a nice FVG on the daily time frame and saw GBPAUD approaching a nice supply setup after a large break of structure. Price perfectly tapped into my zone and I opened a 1:2 position immediately. Notice how price reacts to our supply zone and our take profit zone. Always give yourself a cushion around your SL if you're using a S/D zone.

I'm back to trading this strategy every day like before.

An interesting thread, i wish the host will keep it going, i learnt alot.

I'm new here in FF.
I'm subscribing to this thread and will try backtesting it with FVG.
It feels familiar to QM strategy and the SOPs that I can relate, although a bit different with the FVG.

USDJPY Morning Session, M1.

Scalping.

Same QM concept, instead of entry at base when pullback…
I entered at pullback on FVG (Border Rectangle).

Apologies, the indicators just messing around. Distraction.

USDJPY, m15

Time session almost closing for asian session.
High activity (volume) during this last minute.

Saw a swing high near key support in Daily, and straight away find the fvg (pink rectangle) in m15.
Wait for price to pullback on a ‘clean’ zone. Entry in m1.

Although fvg zone is big. As expected, with high volume price was playing around the zone.
