Habbar..

I don't know who or what you are or what your agenda is here..

but for the record.. I couldn't care less if Bagavino begs, borrows or steals or stands on his head while trading a demo account.

All he's managed to do thus far is create a thread for the masses here where if you have enough mental horsepower and reasonable judgment faculties, you consistently make profits from this edge.

Is it perfect.. no.

Does it work.. yes.. consistently.

Is Bagavino responsible for initiating, formatting and assemblying this "edge' ?

Absolutely!

No need for you to post here if you don't have anything substantive to add.

However, please feel free to enlighten some of us benighted souls with your particular and personally developed profit making strategies that you must surely have at your disposal.

Marco,

Where do these guys come from?

Maybe we can create one thread and send them all there to self destruct!

Bags..

I don't know.. but it always amazes me that some seek to tear down what others have built and in the process memoralize their inane remarks and stupidity in writing for all to see.

How do you guy's feel about creating a chat room to call live trades and discuss the market like we did on the thread last night?

Do we have any computer literate people who can put this together?

I'd be able to be there for the London open most times. Maybe one of my skilled compadre's like MarcoW or Strada can run the U.S. open?

Any takers?

Hey Bago,

I'm an old b**ger and I don't know if I've got the time to read right through this thread before I die. Because of this I read threads the way women read books - I read the first page then I go to the back page.

I notice that the last chart you put up had two more ma indicators on it then in Post 1. Can you tell me what they are and what they're for please ?

Cheers mate

I will get around to posting a revised version of how I trade. I'm a bit hesitant for 2 reasons... One, I'm still tweaking a few things and two, I'm too damn busy!!!

Overall, this was a lousy week for me compared to normal expectations.. only traded the EUR/USD and netted out 103 pips on 7 wins and 2 losses.

Tough week.. I think the guys trading against the yen and the carry trade scenario probably fared the best.

Oh yeah... My heart bleeds for you! 103 pips in a week? You should be ashamed of yourself! How dare you post such awful stats on this thread! Ha! Ha!!

Are you kidding? 103 pips in a week on one currency is amazing!!!!

Great job!

What time do you find yourself placing your trades?

Hi Bagovino,

I'm really sorry you have to live with such shameful results (hehe). I would like to thank you for introducing the method and taking it to where it is now.

I saw a post by you in another thread a few weeks ago, suggesting to only take trades that are in agreement with the 4H trend. I will not go into details, but this has been an eye-opener. I am getting as close as it gets to the perfect score, using the 30M setup.

Thanks again, keep up the good work.

ssotiro,

I am a big fan of multi time frames. Meaning I first look at the higher time frames first (daily, 4hr, 1hr, 30min.) to get a feel for the trend and then trade off the 10 min. I usually only trade in the direction af the prevailing trend unless I get such a strong signal to do otherwise.

If you are trading off the 30 min chart then the 4hr is an excellent time frame to look at first. You'll see if you trade with the 4hr trend on the 30 min TF you'll have great success.
Hint... If the daily and the 4 hr are going the same direction it's even better!

Well done with the 103 pips (7-2) in a 'lousy' week too! An impressive result indeed.
Are you able to post your trades of last week on EU: times, entry, exit, pips, please? I'd love to know your thoughts and reasons?
Are you still trading as per #2035?

My post #2043??
<The MACD's, especially the way I use them, have on occasion kept me out of a trade>
"Could you clarify how you use the MACD(s), and why two MACDs at those settings?
When you use Vegas & what Fib levels do you have the lines set at? (GU & EU)
What do you use the 62MA for?
Do you use daily pivots?"

Next week all I'm hoping is it will be as good as your last lousy week

Thanks

Rorieu

Your not right, your ignorant!

If I have no thoughts or ideas, how did this thread come to be and stay so successfull?

And you are assured I do not trade? Wow... Your give ignorance a bad name!

If you don't like it, I don't care... I'm here to stay! There are a billion other threads here for you to pester. Why are you on here if you don't like it?

I personally wouldn't waste my valuable time on something I didn't like. I guess your time isn't worth much!

You are welcome to stay and read my thread... Hopefully you'll learn something!

Hi Rorieu..

Let me take a stab at your questions here..

Trades as follows..6/18 B 1.3398 4:10a.m. (est)
All EUR/USD S 1.3412 7:11 a.m.
14 pips

6/19 S 1.3413 3:10 a.m.
B 1.3386 5:20 a. m.
27 pips

B 1.3408 10:20 a.m.
S 1.3420 12:20 a.m.
12 pips

6/20 B 1.3425 3:50a.m.
S 1.3420 4:20 a.m.
5 pips

S 1.3421 4:40 a.m.
B 1.3431 6:00 a.m.
-10 pips

6/21 B 1.3388 4:10 a.m.
S 1.3374 7:20 a.m.
-14 pips

B 1.3380 7:50 a.m.
S 1.3401 8:30 a.m.
21 pips

6/22 B 1.3396 1:40 a.m.
S 1.3423 2:25 a.m.
27 pips

B 1.3446 2:00 p.m.
S 1.3467 2:54 p.m.
21 pips

Most of these were 5/8 crosses with exits taken after certain number of pips were on the table, or when the StepRSI moved above or below 50. I used Strada's 10 minute chart.

As far as MACD's, those particular ones were given to me by a very successful trader in both stocks and forex. What I mean by "how I use them", is simply to confirm the histogram bars moving through the signal lines in the direction of the crossover at the time of the crossover as opposed to signal line needing to be above or below 0, etc.

I have a separate chart for the Vegas tunnel and simply use the 1 hour Vegas template which has the fibs already calculated in line form. When price is approaching one of the bands, I am very careful to look for retracements and profit taking possibilities.

I have used the 62ema in the past, but now use the 55ema and 200ema as targets for support and resistance as well as profit taking depending upon the situation.

Yes.. I use daily pivots.. wouldn't trade without them.

I use the same format I posted earlier for trading with the exception that I added the StepRSI for confirmation and weeding out whipsaws once I'm in a trade. Also, Strada's 10 minute scenario works fine..better than the 15 min I previously used.

Hope this answered your questions.

Marco

Hi Marco

Thanks for the very comprehensive reply. I hope it didn't take too much of your time.

I'll go through it in more detail this evening before the FX action opens up in the East. (I'm in the UK, GMT+1)

Thanks again

I think that I will try RSI Five 75/25, for a while. It seems to capture all the good and filter out nearly all the bad. Watching. Glenn in Montana.
