I'm sorry. You're right. What I wasn't realizing was that, say, 3,000:1 leverage can buy 60 lots for $2,100, so the risk is 60 times more than with 50:1 leverage IF YOU USE ALL YOUR AVAILABLE MARGIN.
You're talking about simply not using all that margin recklessly, and still trade just 1 lot as if you had a 50:1 leverage account, and so being able to diversity funds much easier when the opportunity is presented.
In that case, if I could discipline myself properly, it would be great to have 3,000:1 leverage. But in the USA, it's not possible with regulated brokers.
