Some of the MT4 downloads have the DOW. I have it on the Neuimex Trading Terminal's NEXTT 4 charts. If it isn't immediately visible in your market watch list it should appear if you right click where it says "Symbol...Bid...Ask" then left click on "show all".

I run NEXTT 4 behind another MT4 chart so that the DOW candle can be seen on the extreme right of the monitor and the other MT4 is slightly offset to the left...showing whichever pair u are trading.

I also use Bloomberg.com to check various other equities but although the list below their small chart updates every few minutes, you need to click refresh to update the small chart.

250 could be it over at least very close imo. Had orders open for awhile close them closer to market close.

I think it's gonna run half decently tonight.

But that just my 2 yen

I am keeping an eye on teh EJ aswehll tonight is looking like a test on tehre of trend highs soon ish

Cant remember where I read it. Some big banks are getting together to have a pow wow and more then likely most of it will be about the carry trades.

News just in:

Residual exotic option exposure at 1.9950 has been erased on that rally (a 1.9950 barrier expired intact yesterday).
Touted offers at 1.9970 (June 5 high) represent an appreciation obstacle north of 1.9953. Some buy stops reportedly reside above 1.9970. Further sell interest is noted at 2.0000 (May 9 top). There is speculation that a large exotic option might reside above 2.0000. Sterling scaled a 25-year peak of 2.0134 on April 18. 2.0095 was the April 19 high.
A large 1.9940 plain-vanilla option rolls off at today"s 10am Eastern NY cut (14:00GMT). The strike level is a support point. Lower props include 1.9929 (today"s Asian session top), 1.9913 (today"s Asian session base), 1.9900 (yesterday"s NY session low) and 1.9986

does everyone think that it will still go up to 150 or thats its overbought and with all the carry on about the carry trades and with the hedge fund

there is a long term top from 1992 at 249.00

I suspect this would be a good stalling point/start of retracement (if it gets there).

YEN is not looking back, and the monkeys in Japan Finance Dept is holding the rate at 0.50, no change till Q1, 2008. We will see 248 (which is now 50 pips away) before climb to 248.35 and all the way to 249-250's.

yes, I agree 249 will not be a long term high this time around, however once we reach that point we will have gone 1200 pips upwards without any form of retracement whatsoever.

Certainly the last time it hit a long term resistance level it fell with a bit of a bang.

I'm not saying it will this time round, but it has to provide the next solid hurdle to look out for.

I know, and its helped my balance no end.

From history all I can tell you is the only move larger than this with almost as little retrace was in January. It then fell from the 1998 high.

Again, I'm not saying it will this time, just noting the nearest area of the chart to watch.

Looking at the larger picture.

D1 ADX is only at a 49.97 and is not overbought yet.
D1 Stochastics is at 98.20 and is overbought.
All timeframe MACD's showing all north bound with no sign of slowing.
D1 Rsi = 89.97 and is overbought.
News coming out this week that may affect the pair negatively.
*Possible Chinese interest rate change. (hasn't appeared yet and most likely won't until at least next week.

* Stock markets are down yet the pair appears to still be going north. 249.17 is the next high which should show resistance.

Overall looks like the rest of Friday should take it north.

Personally I don't see the drop coming for at least a couple of more days. Being that there is no published news that will affect this pair strongly until Monday and Tuesdays US Housing releases.
