Gold broke previous candle's high. So there are much chances of Gold going long.
For further confirmation we wait for London Session. Gold is still rejecting resistance at 2074 but the risk of Selling from this high is that this red candle be a support/retracement for gold to hit 2080+ again.

Gold daily chart

During the first week of January, the price of gold will be supported by the mid-channel lines and the monthly pivot level of 2059.
I expect the movement between the middle lines of the channels and the upper lines of the channels to be an oscillatory movement between ups and downs.
But the general expected trend is upward.

Price needs to reach this zone to gain the liquidity needed to take it to 2070.
Overall, I think we will hit 2070 today even if the price doesn't start the move from the zone.
