Primary question I have is, "ok, when do we book?" Seems almost too obvious that SnP will run to ath b4 that happens. But it's a Goldilocks story, the obvious, happy ending is just right.

yeah, that totally harshed my mellow. Probly pretty vain to think there won't be more profit-taking blood in days to come.

Took off some more at a 50c profit today, I now have about 40% of my original Dec22/26 SPX 4,810 calendar calls...

....out of the rest @$3.00, a net $1.80 out & I am flat.

RUT going daily, this is great news. RUT could be a big mover in the coming year... RUT & MRUT dailies hit the chains Jan08. Maybe MRUT will pick up some good volume, we'll see....

Yeah, lucky me. Didn't put on a put side spread. Most of the time when I fail to go bidirectional, I end up getting burned. RUT will have to rally to >2,000 for a be on this calendar. If there's a Goldilocks NFP, it could happen. Have thought about rolling it into a credit spread for Feb08, but not much there. RUT fell too far & I paid too much.

My best chance for a decent week is SPX falling further to 4680 +/- on Friday, jacking the SPX 4675/4670 put diagonal. Need a Goldilox NFP to bring back the fomo. Number too high = recession fear; too low = later rate cuts. Ideal will be close to the forecast...

Goldilox lives, btfd is what the stock market breathes, I got out of half SPX put diagonals at about 2x, holding 1/2 now for a miracle turnaround to close the day.

After about 10 years of diddling around, I feel like I am about ready to give up on all directional trading. Go full Sosnoff. it's tough to give up old habits. It's a lot simpler just to play the numbers, though. And it just pays better, in the long run.
