i'm gone crazy now. coz i'm looking to short this monster with small tiny micro lot at 243.20 once it hit there. tp 237 . no SL

its easy, just pull some fibonacci when u see it go down, and enter at 50 or 61 to be sure. u cant get better than that.

Why do you want to short this pair ??? Wait for dips and buy buy buy, you shoud be safe untill october where there "could" be a rate hike

Actually i always buy dip with big giant Lot and sell top with tiny micro lot . nothing to lose right?

HELP!!!! me understand this simple problem

Carry Trades / Interest / Roll over.
I am confused! and I need help, I have spent hours speaking to brokers and I am still not getting the answer. I am looking to do position trades on GBP JPY, and on this currency there is a huge diffrential between the sept futures and the spot by over 200 pips.
So currently if I want to go short, and expecting to hold the position for several weeks the sept sell price is 24000, but the spot is 24318 - so I am getting 318 pips less. However, as time goes by and we come closer to expiry than the spot and future gets closer and closer.
So in my example, I start with a loss of 318 pips. Assuming that during this period say the spot goes down by 300 pips than technically I have not made any money - Is that correct??
HELP! Or am i being silly not able to understand?

at the mo you have R3 resistance and a divergence

as i keep saying, buy on dips...u could short for some small gain but keep stop loss as low as possible...

and i'm not gonna trade longs from this high up; waiting to peak, then short.
i need to see 244.5 in order to believe in a continuation of this uptrend.

About my sentiment as well, I'm going short but I think there might be one more small spike up towards 50 before it comes down. GBP always tries to get me stopped with those last little bursts. Not hoping for much just about 20-30pips, but if it comes down to TL around 70 thats fine too.

what exactly are you guys basing your shorts on? because I cannot see ANYTHING in my chart showing weakness on GBPJPY...

This is the level where I would short with. It's really hard to trade this pair when it's sky high and the Chinese are not interfering. Who would go long at these levels? The Chinese are not happy to see the yens weaken. I think they will have something to "say" sometimes next week. Without the Chinese, this pair would just go on up and never look back.

It's interesting how I see a lot of people go short when it's low and go long when it's high. Maybe the fact that I don't use any indicators made me do the complete opposite. After all, I don't use stop loss and I use high leverage.
