With the tradingview setup I used the TSI Hist and MA I used the settings 8,12,3 and median as well as Arnaud Legoux 12 period MA and then enter in the direction of the trend and exit when the indicator changes direction. That might be simpler.

Tweaking the TSI MA from 12 to 14 keeps you in longer and gets you in later/ out earlier ... so between +40 and -40 use 14 otherwise use 12..

In both cases we are trading in the direction of the trend. Ideal entries are outside of the 25 and moving back to towards the 25. Re-entry or secondary entry can be found when you are in the direction of the trend, you are on the right side of the moving averages and the tsi also is crossing in the right direction.
Same as on the tradingview chart.

In this case in the shorter time frame you can profit from the chop. In a higher time frame you would end up simply riding the gain to a higher level.

It is also possible to give back in the chop if it is too tight.

I tend to rely on the 5 min timeframe for decisions but watch the 1 min candles/chart for unexpected developments or confirmations.

Same basic charts.
Added a hybrid TDI indicator. It gets me the blue trend line so that I can confirm the preferred direction of trade, in the direction the blue line is pointing, focusing on over 50 for up and under 50 for down unless a swing is happening.
Based on 7 period RSI (hidden) and 3 moving averages (3,10,30)
The hybrid TDI is very similar to the smoothed TSI.
5 minute provides a clearer signal. 1 min very choppy today.'
Brown lines on the 1 min are 50 and 100 point intervals
Orange lines are 250, 500 and 750 and 1000

Entry Buy: CC Cloud is Bullish. Arrow Paints Below Price (Bullish Candle). Buy Open Of Candle Following Arrow. EntryMust Open Below TMA Midpoint.
Entry Sell: CC Cloud is Bearish. Arrow Paints Above Price (Bearish Candle). Sell Open Of Candle Following Arrow. Entry Must Open Above TMA Midpoint.
(FOR THE EA THE CC CLOUD TIMEFRAME NEEDS TO BE CUSTOMIZABLE. AND THE TMA "BANDS DEVIATION" NEEDS TO BE CUSTOMIZABLE OR USER DEFINED).

Target For Buy: Price Goes To The Bottom of TMA Band. Take Profit At Open of Bar Following Arrow Signal (Bearish Candle) Down.

Hi,

hope you could make this ea work again. It is an old ea. another thing is if possible to change the entry system. currently if it open 1 buy 0.01lot, it will open 3 sell stop 0.01lot. if it could open 1 sell stop of lot 0.03 instead, it will reduce numbers of positions tremendously.

when the market is sideway, total number of positions is big, sometimes reach allowable number of trades by broker.

Pls kindly check & if possible code this ATR Hilo indicator to ea. The arrow has good winning ratio.
Simple rules:
1- open sell when arrow appear above the candle
2- open buy when arrow appear below candle.
✓ Option of stop loss & TP
✓ close trade when opposite signal appear.
