It indeed looks ready to drop, especially the GJ due to GU downside bias, and UJ is running out of gas. I have my stops placed, and I dread the day when I will be rolling in billions and the banks all want to hunt my stops so I have to place market orders real time and therefore stay awake all the time.

But tell me, how is the forex scene in France? Is it as merde-ish as I hear?

looks can be decieving but it seems that pips are going to fall off a cliff

Im bullish myself, cant see a reason for a big drop other than a surprise rate hike or if Mr Fukui drops a hint of one.

I agree. Heavily OB for too long a period now. BOJ will more then likely hike rates in my op.

The charts remind me of a quite before a storm. I hope we are not disappointed I put off fishing today for this.

Depending on the BOJ news what other Y crosses you guys looking at. I r interested in EY and NY as well

Me? Bearish? Never! The trend is up as always, but this is a high probability setup, maths and fibos and trader instinct as usual. Also big news at the right time.. let's just say I will be watching the charts very closely IF they actually reach those 242.75 areas. 200 pip trade, this. The dragon is ruthless.

it can always meander up with the indicators overbought, but there is a risk, see chart. see what happens when my stochastics are greater than 90? Look out when they all line up!

added to that 242.75 is my up threshold 241.80 is the down. a close above or below those will have me betting on that direction

I have a hedge running ATM so whatever happens i have 50 pips locked in but if there is a big move i want to be here.

Argh, i have just noticed that Fukui will speak between 3 and 4:30 GMT :-/

The 4h is showing OB for me too, how ever the D1 and H1 are not. D1 showing bullish H1 mildly bullish.

Guess we just have to wait for the news
