Quick question, been watching some OV videos, and he puts a lot of emphasize on waiting a relevant time from the open of the elephant candle (which in our case is our 1 wick candle), for example for a 2 min candle he says its between the 1 minute and 1 minute 40 mark, the latter being the safest.

Should we always wait half the time of the candle from open to start thinking of entering or just as soon as we see relevant BODY and confidence of the 1 wick being formed?

Firstly, we do NOT trade the 2M TF and we do NOT use Candlesticks as my old Mentor does still after 35 years of trading.
So, using the Channel Indicator and HA Candles, our trade aim is the combination of these two Indicators BUT on the last Channel Arm / Section.
One wicked Candle is our momentum Candle (Volume) in the pre-defined direction unlike OV whom uses the 20 SMA as his directional bias.

We open a trade after we confirm by zooming inwards and assuring the 1 wicked candle does NOT reverse and we have some time on our side to verify this candle status. Once we have true confirmation and we are happy, we open a trade on the candle that has opened and still active within the TF (which is almost equal to OV Strategy). The Channal provides direction, and the HA Candles through Volume gives us trade confirmation. This is why I keep saying - zoom in and watch the candle Body and Wick.

Thank you very much C, I was focusing on trading the 1m a lot, but I was making a lot of mistakes, focusing on the 5 min now so I can have a chance to zoom in

Gonna post a trade I just did, going slowly I am trying to get in and out in the same 5 min candle, afterwards I will move to the second, and then third.

First pic is my 1 wick candle, second picture is the zoom in, I marked with a red line the top of the 1 wick candle so I can monitor if it reverses on the 1 min chart (zoom), after a while it tried to reach this zone but was rejected, so I got in the trade with 1 minute remaining for the 5 min 1 wick candle to close, afterwards got a very big money candle so I exited in profit, 3 pips
