Tomorrow we have a - Tay Squre (Triangle) Mars and Sun - Saturn - Moon. Can somebody plot those on the TS?

In order to make an sense of a coorelation between that "ray" and market behavior, one would need a fairly large data set to backtest. Never confuse causation and correlation!

I am more interested in the Venus-North Node opposition.... Here is a projection based on Venus and NNode...

The maroon line is Venus-NNode and the red line is a Bartels Spectrum study.

Hi Adam,

I don't know about an MT4 turning indicator. If you are referring to my end of the week recap, I hand draw those lines using the line tool in MT4, based on the projection line posted the week before. In terms of Astro based turning points known in advance, see the chart I just posted with 2 projection lines... one is a cycle spectrum study the other is a projection line derived from the period of the geocentric Venus-NNode cycle. I am tending to focus more on pure cycle work these days with the Spectrum module. The best place to read up on all of the possibilties is at the Timing Solution website and their knowledge base of articles.

Oh I had forgotten all about that. I was sorry about that for a couple of reasons.... Abhay would not disclose what astrological criteria he used to create those lines. The indicator did use a lot of resources and mt4 ran very slow when it was on a chart. The thread died a natural death and Abhay was never heard from again. He disappeard from the Timing Solution group as well where he was a member, posting occasionally.

The principle however is the same that I described, certain aspects correlate (not cause ) a change in market trend for up to down or down to up ... also up to sideways, sideways to up... and of course down to sideways or sideways to down. The only way you can really know what aspects work is to do your own extensive backtesting. There is no shortcut here.

Hi Zebi - You need decades/centuries of data to analyse the effect on and you need multiple hits too - I'm watching this, but doubt it will do anything and even if it did, we'd need the next one to land to be able to formulate a trading strategy out of, if it did anything - Its like an asteroid passing, if its a one off, its useless for trading/Investing

The moon plays a massive part in the markets - Gann based his highly accurate financial timetable on it, which allows traders to formulate predictions for the future

Hello would you be able to offer some assistance as to how you calculate these Lunar Cycles. I have looked at the Moons declination which provides around 4 points per month when we are at Max Nth and Max Sth and crossing through the Celestial Equator but you seem to generate more points than the regular passage of the Moon. And what charts are you lining up these projections with thanks

As always i need to verify whether it is an inverted week or not... so my trades are on late monday or late tuesday...

Hi again,
For next week, it looks like all the way down the whole week, we will see.
As always, it needs to be verified by Monday at least. Then, when verified, we need to run the spectrum for the cycle as well.
P.S.: The second line is the smoothed version of the first one.

As promised, I said I would post the results of my experiment with no stop loss trading, looking to get 5 pips per day at high leverage of 100:1, that is 5% per day which compounded daily can grow to a sizeable accout with time, starting with a small opening balance. All it takes is one mistake and you can get wiped out easily. After a solid 1st month, this month it happened and the account is wiped out with 2 mistakes. luckily all I had invested in this experiment was $20 over a 2 month period. My VPS costs me 4.35 Euros per month.

I am working on building EA's that have a sl built in but witht he same logic, high leverage, small balance...

I'd like to get on the same page as you with the intermarket similarity module. My curve showed an up rather than down week last week... I am using 29k 30 min bars. Wondering how many bars you are using and what time frame? So glad to have you posting here Barbaros...

Back to using 10,000 30 mi bars for the calculations.

Thank you Jerry,
In fact, in the intermarket module, I detect the past similarities of particular day patterns under the custom period and combine them. In doing so, in addition to the best correlation ratios, I try to visualise the most harmonious movements of the past week. When it is composite (for example, if I have made five selections), if there are incorrect selections in between, the system also tolerates this. I also use this smoothed price behaviour to determine the general trend. I am always here if you want more details.
