Why has market on gold ( xau/usd) stop early today 7:20 in uk time

Thanks, this confirms what I had concluded too. I will start again, with a more modest amount and get a feel for real life. I blew my first account for real by being over aggressive. $250 to $1800 in a few weeks real trading .... and then it went pear shaped. I've learned a lot since then, but keep posting comments and advice guys. Much needed and appreciated.

Hi guys. Just personal view base on Algorithm for next Monday Classical Movement (only for Monday Opened). My personal target, focus on liquidity entries near Order Block if valid either OB buy or OB sell. Better refer your own analysis if available. Just probabilities and not certainties. No problem. Caught a few people did that one. Market actually closed 6:45 for thanksgiving. If you were following using 30min or more the activity may not have shown up, but it was actually well closed by 7:20! I was expecting 9:00 like Thursday so ...!

We're at a weird point right now. Gold is priced very high for its value yet the market sentiment would say gold is going up, especially against a currently weak dollar.

I'd guess range or slightly up in the short term with a bigger down move over the months to come. I still see no reason why EUR is strong and USD is weak. The economies and inflation do not say that should be happening. Might just be a retracement after years of very bullish dollar. DXY looks close to support so might see a break for it this week.

This is the weekend and instead of being on Netflix, I am spending this time to learn what is happening around the world. This might give me a little clue as to what DXY and Gold can do next week.
This situation is quite confusing which caused me a little loss. I cannot decide if I should sell XAUUSD or buy it. If it won't choose a direction next week, we might see a consolidation on the H4, and D1 charts. This consolidation can last for weeks which will make it more difficult to trade.
We all can do is hope for the best and gold to fall back down.

not from the ceasefire. This isn't the end, but it might suggest regional escalation is less likely. The DXY looks at support after a couple of big down weeks, so that might push gold down.

XAUEUR looks at the end of an upwards retracement, so that suggests gold might go down this week. If USD strengthens and gold weakens then it could shoot down, but not much news on Monday to trigger anything.

Yeah, checked calendar on Monday, didn't saw any clue that can strengthen Gold, still I can do is hope for a downtrend.

My instinct is downward, but I'm expecting an upward last gasp maybe before any real move down. But that's probably more down to hope than true judgement. However, we will see soon enough!
