I hate this pair!!! I have a sl at 241.496! If I would have looked a 5min before trade I would have not taken it.........took this of of 15min. Oanda doesnt have 10 min.

Hummm, sorry but it seems the momentum is not there, but as you know the boy did not take this trade as he only takes the winners LOL, but no screen shot, no account line nothing to show for it but just afterward comments.

As you know Chrisbero I posted my long term screen shot results yesterday and I did have to close it as it reached a 33.5% gain on capital, that was just too tempting. I have opened another long term this morning and was down for a while but am now at 1% gain, will close when sufficient gains in 2-3-8 weeks.

I have received many many PM asking for me to explain this strategy and I am thinking of it but I must say that I fear the 100's of questions and will have to take a decision but if I go forward, I will announce it loudly on this PUBLIC thread. I want to precise that you did not PM me but I thaught your post was a propos.

I note with interest the RSI 5 correlations:
Nice entry with >70 or <30.
Ride that horse until it reaches exit at 50% line.

Hi Chris,
Nice to see you.
Seems like most people using the 5/12 (or 5/8) here are also using
something to attempt to quantify the strength of the move.
To me, the RSI (50 Crossing)is adequate and simple to see.
Others are using ADX, I think. There has been a lot of recent posting about filtering choppiness and there again, attempting to determine strength will probably help out.
Also:G/J is tempting but, too big of surf for me.

You seem to use this system in a profitably way.
what are your set-up? Is it the 12/5 EMA cross with the RSI 21 cross or do you use the 8SMA/5EMA cross with the RSI 21 cross?

For me it seems like the longer MA's give less false signals... of course with a longer timeframe. Altough i'm just a newbie to this system.

I have looked into the use of 5/12 cross with the RSI 21 at 1H TF, but i'm feeling unsecure to weather this is the way to go... there are so many different way to use this... with ADX etc etc.

what if we get on our knees and ask Mary's help as an infalable indicator ..... could it really then work ? let's give it a try as Mary never refuses anything coming from East L.A.
