MLQ4 check if object selected

Seems I have a knack for wanting to do things that MLQ can't do...

I basically want to write a script to attach to a hotkey that will cycle colours/styles of selected objects.

Mainly to make it easier to place readable fibs on the the chart... I can't see any way you can get an index for the currently selected object though... I thought there might me a bool object property for it's selected status but no joy there either...

Anyone got any ideas?

No can do.

You can iterate objects and check their type, color, style, etc. but not whether or not they're selected.

I had a feeling you were going to be the one giving me the bad news I'll just have to write one that sets all of them to different colours then... suppose I could set their styles based on age as well... might help make it more readable...
