history of FOREX

i'm very new in forex. can anyone tell me what is the forex history? how it starts?

One of the first books I read about Forex was Forex Revolution by Peter Rosenstreich. A very good initial guide to Forex. A little bit about history, a little bit about brokers, strategies etc. I found it a good book to start with.
