No, once you restart your MT4 platform after 17:00 EST you need to keep it running until next restart.
As Dove mentioned few times, your time window to reset MT4 is from 17:00 EST to maximum 18:00 EST; then you need to keep your MT4 running for "24 hours" until next restart. So as you probably understand now, you can not restart 8-10 hours after 17:00 EST.

If you can't do it on that hours, try to use Windows Schedule Tasks manager - one of the paradox thread member was explaining how to use it.
For me, after some Windows updates, this manager stops working for some reason so i am using now RoboTask program to restart my MT4 automatically (kill proces at 17:00, start process at 17:05).

And remember, it is not important if you minimize MT4 window and you continue your work on PC, or you turn off screen - just make sure your device will not go into sleep mode which can cause lost of internet connection.

Seems like a strategic move, considering the 1H EMA and 23.6 fibo alignment. Although waiting for candle closure might add confirmation, indicators favor the long position. A 40 pip TP looks promising.

New candle opened above smooth, when purple crossed white so we can go long. We are in ranging with DB on H2.

Fibo changed green to red, DB hit upper BB, romar is still resistance on h2 and SAR hit EMA resistance on D1 so go short with new H2 candle.

Parabolic locked for up, 4horsemen turned up. Fibo turned GREEN. DB verified trend for up. We have resistance at fibo 61.8 it means we have enough pips to go long with open candle.

has anyone been able to replicate the indicators?? I have been using his system and love it but i'm scared with no updates from the author we will never get the source code and wont be able to continue after certain amount of updates..Im able to replaicate several MA's but cant get the Parabolic to work as its some custon code...

Please note that I am not going to provide any details to support the following. I have inferred the calculations for everything apart from the SAR - the longer term version is available from MT4/5.

If you have not been able to divine the code for the parabolic then it is extremely unlikely that you have precisely replicated the MAs' because the calculations are made using the same base.

Id say thats because SAR uses another indicator and probably that base calculation because ive only gotten it 97% acurate. If i had worked out as much as you have this would of been so much easier to code lol

Honestly, I find it quite selfish of you to "tease" someone who is genuinely worried about not having access to these indicators anymore. You added no value in your reply and only boasted that you were able to find out the indicator calculations yourself, emphasizing you have no intention of sharing information.

The reality is, unfortunately, dove is gone and there are so many talks/updates with Metaquotes. A lot of brokers and prop firms are starting to move away from Metaquotes especially because of regulations in the US. It makes sense to have such worries when a trader is relying on the Paradox.

I've tried to replicate the indicators myself in the past, but was not successful. I will; however, share my findings.

  1. ROMAR: Not exact, but a 70 EMA (using median price, not close price) was similar enough
  2. EMA: Not exact, but a 12 EMA (using median price, not close price) was similar
  3. Parabolic: It is not the traditional Parabolic SAR. It's a PSAR using LSMA (Least Squares Moving Average)
    - as a reference, you can check out an indicator called "PSAR using LSMA" on TradingView
    (source: close, regression line length 10, start 0.08, increment 1, maximum 0.12) This should be similar enough to start with.
  4. Horsemen: This is where I had difficulties replicating. Just like the Parabolic, it most likely has something to do with the LSMA. LSMA is related to regression lines and Dove did mention linear regression before. Even the ROMAR and EMA are probably related. I just happened to find similar moving averages.
  5. Bollinger band: standard 20 Bollinger band with 3 standard deviation
  6. DB: standard zig-zag
  7. SAR: seems like a zig-zag with a shorter setting, but wasn't able to replicate exactly

These were my findings so far. Year after year, I was hoping someone would share the indicator sources at some point as I believe some of the members like Shaun were given access, but, it seems like that will never be the case. I would also appreciate it if anyone could share their finding as well.

I have no intention of messing around with the settings or modifying the system. My intention of replicating the indicators was simply from my worry of what is happening with Metaquotes, especially in the US. I have many more years to trade in the future, and it would be devastating to suddenly lose access to the Paradox.

I was simply trying to be helpful. I would point out that Dove claimed copyright & I would not wish to infringe; if I publish my findings I might do so.
May I also point out that Dove did not use all of the indicators such as the SAR.

I saw this topic and the main topic related to it last week and it really caught my attention. I started doing some work on Tradingview to try my luck.
Have you noticed any new developments regarding these topics?

and also I don't use Meta program. So I don't have an up to date chart. Can you please add the latest chart for 1D, 2H and 1H timeframes?

This is my shortcut PDF that I read through every single day before taking a trade.
Pics are included in my notes as I'm a firm believer in " a picture is worth a thousand words".
My ROMAR is colour blue and White is colour white.
The pics are there to give me visuals for entries to look for on daily basis.
Hopefully it can be helpful to beginners after they have studied the original thread.

Long term trade. Daily DB with standard divergence attached at the top. H4 and H2 both DB with both divergences at the top. Entry just after the H2 open after the attachment. 140 pip target hit at 100% Fibbo.
