This is sure a slow trading day. Nothing is moving. Trying to figure out why. Not much news but that never stopped forex traders before.

Why does it matter.. here is the bottom line.. if price does not move:

If you take a look at the econ calendar that's why FOREX looked dead today.
Expect some volatility as early as tomorrow 2pm ET.

We are also heading in to the summer season, a lot of traders take the summer off for a holiday so volume is down... of course there are always exceptions, but don't discount the summertime slowness as a reason.

I guess it just depends on the pairs that you trade. EUR/TRY moved 236 pips today and EUR/HUF moved 219 pips today. My two favorite pairs GBP/JPY and GBP/CHF moved well today too ...
