Are we expecting some announcement?

Anyone knows if there is some upcoming news announcement or is there any holiday some where? Market is unbelieveably slow and quiet today.....

It's monday on a very light news day around the world. Not much happening for the next few days. I would expect volatility to be higher later on this week. Typically, your highest volatility is on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Sundays and Mondays are usually the lowest.

The news to this point puts most currency pairs in a holding pattern concerning rates. No news is convincingly sweet or sour for any of the majors, which makes one believe that for the time being all rates are going nowhere.
