Wedding season in Pakistan, India, Nepal and Sri Lanka. Gold is in high demand during the wedding season. This might cause gold hit above 1970.

Even when RUssia went into Ukraine, the rise in gold had a lot more pull backs than it has now. This move over the last 1.5 weeks is more reminisent of the bank collapses in February of this year.

The fundamental situation with the US bonds and interest rates is unchanged.

After Lehman Brothers collapsed in September 2008, the was an immediate rally in gold, but the a month later it fell again to make a lower low than what it was before Lehman collapsed before it's 3 year journey to 1900, during which there were losts of daily and weekly pull backs and consolidations.

There are plenty of reasons to short gold at the moment. Even Brent Johnson, the Dollar Milkshake guy, said last week that he expects gold to go down again. If I recall correctly, he even said he'd bought some puts.

Gold price is dictated by Futures contracts and delivery. Not people going to the local coin shop down the road.

1947 virtually tested, so limit 1940.04 watching if breaks next! Anyway Lolo it hold may try for 1953 still. Take care

Dear Fonto, I have same idea like you, 1953-1955 is the maximum S.L for short. I short 1947 & 1950 & 1953 with SL 1955. Target is 1800 @ least. Let see.

Pullback on going now, take out 50-53 and drop to 38-40 my opinion only.
