Hello Best please i need alert for this indicator I believe using the set up in the input is possible to create alert for it when price breaks above or below it cant figure out the set up but think the break from the opening range will be around 12pm or can it be set to anytime?Thanks

You can play with this one I add what I call "OverLap" you turn all Session Off and just have the area were they Over Lap.
You will also need "TimeEnum.mqh" for the time.

thanks but what i am looking for is session indicator that i can set to show only Tokyo/London overlap and London/NewYork overlap only.
i am not interested in seeing all the sessions. I am only interested in the overlap.

Hi Don-k
You can set all the sessions to FALSE and just have the Overlaps that you want set to true.
Don't forget to drop 'TimeEnum.mgh' into your 'Include' folder
On your MT4 Platform Go to [File] select [Open Data Folder]
Then in the [File Explorer] that opens Go to [MQL4] then [Include] and drop 'TimeEnum.mgh' in there.
You might have to restart MT4 again.
Let me know if you have anymore problems.

Of course there are indicators which detect the end of a trend.
They are the ones detecting Overbought and Oversold conditions!
The problem is that they don't know for sure that the market is OB or OS.
They just calculate averages and "detect" what they calculated.

Hi coders, do you have a full set of Telegram API codes that can be built-into the EA to send messages to Telegram ? The codes should NOT require the user to tick the "Allow DLL Imports", but only need to key-in the following in the MT4 > Tools > Options > Expert Advisors > tick "Allow WebRequest for listed URL" > https://api.telegram.org

I have found an EA selling in MQL5.com that does NOT require the user to tick the "Allow DLL Imports" :-

Yes, I am at the moment debugging the EA, however you must understand that the proof of result which you posted is only proof that some trader took 7 trades based on the indicator and closed some profit. Additionally the trades had no Stop Loss or Take Profit levels. The trades were floating for about 36 minutes and were all closed at the same time. Right now I am not willing to check historical M1 data from 2015 in order to see exactly what the prices did during those 36 minutes.
So, NO, this is not proof of concept.
This is only one tiny sample of what someone did.

ADX (average directional index) which is present in mt4, is specifically for this. Another to consider would be a longer period macd crossing the zero line or coming withing a certain distance to the zero line.

I would suggest that if you have a coder doing your EA for you, then they should be capable of going through the rather clear details on the link you supplied, in order to include the relevant code to manage the communication via Telegram. If they aren't up for that, then I'd be concerned about the potential for the EA that is being developed.

I'd like to compare pairs by volatility and therefore I'd appreciate it if an indicator as below could be made

% of average true range-(O-C (bearish) or C-O ( bullish ))
for average no periods (nn)
perhaps there's a better way?
or maybe one already exists
