I asked ChatGPT to code an MT4 EA for me, but it comes up with a couple of errors and won't compile. Can someone correct the code for me?

Hi everyone, I‘d like to ask if someone could code this simple strategy that i wrote for MT4. Please share your opinion and ideas. I also included examples from today

Indicators and Variables needed:

 

  1. EMA (50)
  2. EMA (150)
  3. Stochastic (5,5,3)
  4. ATR (14)


rules for BUY:

1. EMA 50 is above EMA 150
2. price closes below the EMA 50 and EMA 150, or only EMA 50.
3. enter on Stochastic crossover from K<D to K>D, if crossover happened below the 20 level and the enry candle is a bullish one


rules for SELL:

1. EMA 50 is below EMA 150
2. price closes above the EMA 50 and EMA 150, or only EMA 50.
3. enter on Stochastic crossover from K>D to K<D, if crossover happened above the 80 level and the entry candle is a bearish one

SL is always 2 x ATR (14) from close of candle (as in this indicator https://www.tradingview.com/script/ziTzsSfo-ATR-Bands/ ) and TP is 4 x ATR (14), resulting in a risk to reward of 1:2

a news filter before and after high impact news would be appreciated.

For optimization purposes: Both EMA values, all 3 Stochastic values, the ATR value, the Stop Loss multiplier for the ATR and the number of minutes before and after news should be user inputs to find better results.

this issue is we wont find a broker who provides the currency pair and also its futures to trade, some have decided to ditch even the DXY, $index because they think shoould be of no important meaning to any aspirec trader.
Wise of them as they are keen business men not suicidal. God help them tey know what they are doing.

i am looking for the possibility to hide wicks (up or down, not both together) on a single candle (every timeframe). does someone know how to do it? i didn't find the way to do it.

I fixed the error and now it compiles correctly. I have not checked the operation of this EA

I am using this indicator on a daily basis, and my platforms are running about 12 hours per day, every day.
I have not experienced anything.

Yes you can do it, however you need to plot your own chart.
IOW, you need to create your own indicator which will plot the candles in the way you want.
And hide the default candles.

This code is very basic, and it will work, but I doubt anyone will be satisfied.
There are lots of important things missing in it.
And, there is no limit for trades.
It will keep opening trades as long as condtion is met.
On every tick... LOL

Sure, you can do it on click, too, if you want to.
You can create whatever type of candles you wish.
You can even invent your own candles.

Hello coders and traders I have a conundrum.
Is there any indicator that could detect a trend weakening or coming to an end.
The expert I am working on seems to trade well but always always enters a trade right at the top or bottom.
I know it is a big ask but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
