What do you now use to close the TP3 trades, trailing stop or something more technical

Hey guys,

I love the 10 min charts. I have been making a killing using some other secret indicators/filters! I've made profits in the tightest ranging markets as well as the big break outs! This method is the best by far!

I recommend the 10 minute set up over the original 1hr. I do however use a few other indicators to take my trades... I've had all winning trades for the past 4 nights! No losers!

I have created 3 other indicators besides the 5 ema/ 8 sma, RSI 21. I also use another time frame to confirm... When all lines up... KILLER TRADES!

I will test this for the next week. I already tested it for the past 2 weeks with all winning trades! 1 more week and I'll reveal the secret here!

HINT: If you keep It Simple and just use the 5/8 cross and 21 rsi on 10 min charts... You will be a winner!!

Yes, but not always. Sometimes one cross will follow the other several bars later and you do have to consider the price action and step back from the chart a bit and take a good look at it. If I do enter I might do it on half stakes and if it goes wrong I just give myself a good kicking and take it as a lesson to respect the bago rules. There's nothing as certain as the uncertainty in this!!

TP3 I'll let that run until either it's on 100 and review, or there is a recross of 5/12, or there is red coded news approaching, or it is sl'd. I'll normally reset the SL to TP2 exit price when there is a margin of 30'ish for the trade to continue breathing. Also if price reaches a critical S/R and bounces I might consider exiting TP3.

Hello Bagovino.

First thank you for opening this thread. I am still testing your original system of 1 hour, and I must say that it's great. I posted some charts above and your method always confirmed the trade. I am still in 4th page of this thread, I will read the complete thread, hehe, will take some time. And in a few days I will start testing your 10 minute system.

I look forward for your new indicators.

We are also going to create a room in skype, basically of users who are using your method.

u said u look @ signals starting from 6am. what happens if there is a signal like say 5.30am? lets assume there is a long signal @ 5.30am (ema cross and rsi above 50), do u trade that signal even if it is a strong long trend or u wait for the next available signal?

also u said u make sure u dont exceed 9% risk, let me know if im correct with this:

if i have account balance of 3000 them i can trade 0.3lots(3mini lots) each for each currency ie gu, ej and uj?

also pls what do u mean when us say stop loss is 30pips + spreed? if spread on gu is 4, then stop loss is 34 to account for spread or u just set it to 30pips (26+4) total?

Correct, at least I think so, not totally conversant with eminis. I try to keep my total exposure (for 3 pairs) below 10% of my bank at any time, so around 3% of the bank on each. Hope that made sense.

30 + spread = 33 on GU & EJ; 20 + 2 = 22 on UJ.

Thanks for those kind words, appreciated. We all know who deserves the biggest thanks in this though, and today I did something about it and would suggest you and some of the other regulars who are benefitting from Bago do likewise.

For me this is the best thread on FF yet it only has 4 stars so I have lodged my vote for the thread 'cause I reckon it is worth a hundred stars. (click on the rating box at the top of this page).

BTW - the long I opened on UJ at 9.50 (see earlier post) is doing very well, TP1 for 20; TP2 for 50. Deserves more than 4 stars don't you think!!

hello bago, strada, marco and other wonderful members of this forum, i ve recently started following this forum and am very much intrigued be the system. espaciallly since so many of u are doing well with it. i've started testing it and hopefully will be rolling in pips pretty soon. thanyou for sharing your knowledge with us and BAGO cant wait till u reveal your secret.

I saw that Bago uses these Ma and RSI on a 10 min time frame. my platform has 1M 5M 15M 30M AND SO ON . ANy one doing a 15 min TF and if yes do u use the original method of 5/12 and 21 RSI or is there a variation depending on the time frame. i know i am asking a lot of questions, but thanks for your help in advance.

Think we are all using the original 5/12 RSI 21 on a 10 minute timeframe with or without further imbellishments.

Thats the nice thing I have found about this system, you use the ma / rsi cross as the bedrock and if you are so inclined add some further confirmations until you reach your comfort level.

Some have added a macd, I use medium and long term stochastics as trend, Strada doesn't use anything else but s/r and price action.

As long as you keep the ma /rsi as the core signal you will do well.

The only thing I do differently is use a StepRSI in place of the standard one because it is smmother and cuts down on minor crosses of the 50 line.

BIL2205, if you're on MT go to Driftwood's post (No 1800) for instruction on adapting to 10 min. If you prefer 15 min Marco's had success with this, check out his posts, they're very helpful.

Somebody could program Alert Indicator for 5/8 and Step RSI 13-4-50. Or at least for Step RSI. So when it gets above 50 there will be either audio or video or both kind of alert.

Yes Lostfx I like it, I would love an alert for it as well but never seen one, I'm useless at that kind of thing.

Only alert I have is for the MA cross but there are a lot more of them.

I prefer watching for a RSI cross then check for the MA rather than the other way round.


I haven't seen this 5/8 MA's, I thought we were all using 5/12.

Yes, I do the same look for StepRSI first and then for MA's. If you use 5/8 it seems to have better timing with StepRSI than 5/12. 5/12 seems to be lagging..... I also use Pivots, previous day high lows and fibs for confirmations.....
