Came back from work around 3.30.
ES bottomed out to rest prior high instead of taking longs just bcz I missed the initial drop I started to short add more add more until took out day's high and above..
Same pitfall screwed again.
Well, another reset or just throw in the towel??.

Why do you trade large if you don’t need money very quickly.

Honestly I don't know.

Burnt out. I don't feel like pursue this anymore.
Fed up and I am done with it.

I don't know how long you've been pursuing this but this coming Dec will be my 10th year and only now I'm starting to understand the whole structure and the rules of the game, however trading all of that successfully I'd say I'd need maybe 6months-1year as I still make mistakes but now the difference is afterwards I can "see" where I went wrong and that makes a huge difference whereas up until this 10th year I was still very much in the dark about how and why my trades didn't work.

Again I don't know what your method is but even if it was pretty straightforward in theory , in reality so many complications arise that it still takes a "lot" of time and the right practice to spot the settle differences of that so called simple setup that along the way you eventually end up learning to trade the "other" moves along with that easier setups.

Remember all of this didn't come together until now, what they say about 5 year mark is bs, no one can learn to be a trader in 5 years or even 7 years , its a highly specialized field just look at those math whiz boys and gals at Alameda is it called going bust. It just takes so much time so patience is key. But I'd suggest you go back to demo, until you know for sure that you can manage to turn a profit regardless of the obstacles come along until that day don't trade with real money it's only going to go down the drain.

And my last suggestion find a mentor a book or a lost thread or a living person doesn't matter which nobody became great without one. Find the right path and practice the right things and eventually when the time comes you'll get it.

Can't seem to reason why I risk more than I suppose to.
Overwhelming market knowledge but 0 discipline.
Maybe I can never reach there.
Now I am very tired like a trauma I don't even want to look at the charts or to do anything with trading .
Never felt this way in the past. Always gets back at it very next day.

Can I have my 2 cents worth here.

In the markets we attempt to trade, there is three reasons why we as traders lose money.
It's got nothing to do with trade knowledge.

1.. We don't believe we are the best trader on Forex Factory (you can't win untill you BELIEVE YOUR A GREAT TRADER) because otherwise you set yourself boundary's your mind will never let you pass. Your Fear will prevent you from being free to trading successfully.
2.. We don't know how to FOCUS, really immerse ourselves into a chart with utter concentration. To feel the markets in our veins as we proceed to place a trade.
3.. We don't understand the actions of Institutional Algo's and how they move markets against our positions. In other words, how are the HFT Algo's making money in 2023 and exactly what strategies should we really be applying to the markets to beat the bitches this year.

I see nothing wrong with you trading large, but its suicide on a small account unless lucks on your side.
Maybe stick to Micro futures and fuck the money till you are really to fuck with the market.

You can do this
But not until you believe you can win at this game because it's like you to be a winner.

My mind is shutting its doors to charts, I think I hurt myself very badly, healing in progress.
Couldn't spend 2 minutes in FF as spent most of my waking hours in the past.
I will get back at it after sometime if possible meanwhile clearing the wholy mess I made for 7yrs +.

Before you go, can I plant a seed in your mind.

There is only one edge in trading these days, but you first need to quit using every lagging indicator ever invented for the trader.
Candles are lagging because they only tell you what's happened in the past, volume is also lagging because it allows us to see information that may not determine where price is going NOW. All these chart based data, indy's, candlestick patterns, Red News etc etc is useless in predicting the future OR every second trader would be RICH wouldn't they?.

Most struggle to hind their trading losses from their partners.
Most are poor if judging their wealth from trading profits.

So where is the edge in trading I am talking about.

It's

the ability to see into the Future of the Future's markets and profit from trades that ARE ABOUT TO OCCUR.
This edge comes from understanding how to read the Bids & Asks on a DOM. Or in other words, understand how to trade imbalance of the Bids & Asks because its showing us the future of price movement a few seconds ahead of time.

Let me give you an example from a trade I took on E- Mini Nasdaq last night. HFT algo's are coded by institutions within the Future Markets to seek out excess imbalance of either the Asks or the Bids and will sweep into that market to obtain high execution trades that are directed against this imbalance.
As a Future's trader, we can watch this imbalance built and built, then front run these Algo's with extremely high win rates with little or no draw downs.
We have a few seconds or more to hit your Market Order button to get in front of these pesty Algo's - this offers us an edge.

Consider a Floor trader on Wall Street 30 years ago. The big fat guy with all the money in the middle of the ring waits for all the skinny guys to start Buying just by listening to all the noise from voices getting louder and louder. Then after hearing the increased shouting, he GOES LONG BIG.
The successful trader back then in the ring waited for the Big Fat guy to cough, clear his throat out, raise his chin and when he was about to SHOUT BUY - this successful trader was 1 second ahead of him yelling BUY. One second later the Fat guy shouts BUY.
This was their edge back then, our Edge now is jumping ahead of the Algo's as the Imbalance rises on a DOM.
We use our eyes like they used their ears.

Its a edge.
