May I add margin requirements for the major futures contracts as of 2 months ago (in between values will have changed but only slightly). The column named "Maintenance" is overnight margin (multiple days) at the exchange (not your broker). Numbers in brackets are the resulting leverage values. IC Markets has different requirements for intraday initial/maintenance margin: (first=initial/second=maintenance). That is to buy a CFD you have to pay the regular (initial) margin but for holding (until auto-liquidation ) only 50% is required (maintenance).

I m on the road. I am not able to post/trade, but I stopped for while 25 min ago whne bought many FDXS 150 and 160 zone all closed now below 200 new resistance. I will post orders when come back home. Keep holding yd DAXCCFD

Here below 4 FDXS buy orders bought after US NFP data in between 149,150,155 and 177 and all closed in between 195 and 201 just before 15:30CET US official open.

On sunday 30 January 1972, 26 unarmed civilians were shot dead by soldiers in Derry, as this tragic sad song reminds.

And during all these decades, we have seen same tragic events and several wars around the world where poor unarmed innocent people die while bigger interests are in play.

It's a cruel disgusted world when guns and weapons take the place of talks and search for a deal, an agreement between different people. I'm so sad these hours.

Frankly I thought markets on huge gap down, but it could be a strange day.

  1. Israel chaos is under financial evaluation
  2. Crude oil is only+3,5%, for now and well below 90$
  3. Germany Lander elections yd in Baviera and Hessen were a complete disaster for current German Government
  4. US markets Bonds are closed today for Columbus Day, so the main market mover these days is on holiday
