How do i code for mt4 an EA that should buy a position everytime it drops 100 USD / Points and close again when all positions together is 100 USD in plus?
I would like to try an automative DCA method

This nonsense (in my non-guru opinion) is what recovery zone/mode trading does, where you just enter more positions in your original direction when price is against you, in the prediction/hope that price will revert back up to your initial entry area. This approach could result in a bunch of big wins, or empty out the account in full ie "catching a falling knife...where the knife gets bigger the lower it falls". For experimentation, search around for recovery zone/mode ea's, or grid ea's or anything really that has "recovery" in it's name or description.

I actually know somebody who was travelling around selling his idea, creating groups, and so on, because he saw something on the charts and this strategy statistically was 90% successful, so it was almost certain that the price would come back to a specific level or MA, and he traded without stop loss, and told people they shouldn't use stop loss. We know how that ended. People lost money, and that guru also broke his account.

It's a normal approach in long term stock trading, especially on funds since you know that the economy is always moving up. Unless something like war or corona hits us. But maybe not as usefull in CFD or forex trading.
Anyways i didn't intend to demean your previous reply, it's just not what i needed, i needed a more like, directly do this to achieve that kind of approach instead of learning to code or a coding example on the specific setup :-)

Bugs fixed. Now indie has two systems and works on bar 0 or on the previous bar.

The indicator wasn't vanishing - the indicator is there all the time.
Only you couldn't see the lines, because they were at the previous symbol's prices.
The indicator had bad logic and wasn't updating to the new symbol's prices.

UPDATE:
I made a Reset button.
So, when changing Tf's the lines stay.
When changing the symbol on the existing chart, we need to reset by clicking on the button.

The lines are not vanishing, they are staying at the previous Symbol level value, you have to delete the lines to have them update to a new chart Symbol. The indicator allows the trader to drag the lines to any position on the chart. The indicator has no delete code because that stops the lines updating back to the original position if you change time frames. A way of getting around your problem would be to have a refresh/update button on the chart but be aware if you go back to the previous Symbol after refreshing the lines for the new Symbol the lines for the previous Symbol will have reverted back to the default levels.

Good morning

i cannot find an indicator to plot current and past ADR/AWR and AMR on my charts. This would save me lots of time. I have screenshotted the adr indicator which plots only the current day so something like this for the awr/amr would be great but also plots previous weeks and months with option of period settings.

If you could help that would be great

Does some one know an MT4 code which can read data from investing.com or CME future, to make an indicator (and later could be a basis for an EA.)
