Strategy :
You can see in picture number 1 that Hurst band (buy and Sell) strategy. This strategy based on Sinewave.
How do i trade :
You can see picture 2 and it is complete sinewave which is starting from point A -> B ->C-> D -> and complete at E.
I will open sell position at point D but condition is that Distance of BC = Distance of CD and target is E. I do not use SL and keep adding positions by using proper money management which is most important part of trading. Sometimes i use counter trades based on breakout. Picture 2 is perfect example of nice trading but as we know that market is not that simple.
I believe that Big players move the market and try to catch liquidity. Identifying the key levels is important part of trading. There are different names like Supply and Demand zones, GAPS, Support and resistance zones.
SL Hunting :
This is common behavior of market that it reduce the number of buyers before it goes up and reduce the sellers when it goes down. In terms of Sinewave, here is an example of SL hunting in picture 3. Market supposed to follow green line starting from point A but you can see that from Red line market bounced and went up to point D and this move is SL hunting and eventually market came down by extending wave pattern.
At this point market needs to return from 1850 to go up and hit the red line but SL hunting is happening so you do not know how much wave is get extened but eventually red line is target. Remember red line will change its position as wave extended.
Being Greedy we make mistake :
Many times i already start taking positions instead of waiting for price to come to the edge. I do this because i am greedy and if market decide to do SL hunting and turn back earlier than expected then i loose the trade. But then there is huge risk involve and we need proper money management to handle it.
As you can see that price went to point D from red line and i made good profit because i added positions to take profit but now market keeps going down and i have many open positions which i already shared here.
Best use of this strategy :
Best use of this strategy is that we take positions close to edge because either market will turn or retracement will happen.
