Everybody is looking for a reason to the huge rally today.
Here you have it.

Well, maybe we'll see a return to the larger daily ranges now? I remember that the speculation was that China was holding things up in a way.

selling usd at the lowest point in 19 months??? based on what? because the eur and gbp have had a nice run? china is just pulling our legs.

You don´t understand. Chinese can be a lot of things but they´re not stupid if they sell dollars now is because even if they don´t, dollar wil have a lower price in another 19 months and when you have 1 trillion dollars 1 pip of dollar devaluation is a lot of money that makes "puff".

Chinese are playing chess and they are usually good players.

When do they must sell dollars??

Well ,maybe you'll see continuous rise of cabel & Euro/USD followed by this surge .....till then,maybe it is recognized China did not that stupid and sell low... after all , low point and high point ,I think they are just comparative concept, never think them absolutely.

And from the side of economic affaris,things seem not good for America. The market expectation of the data which will be reported next week is undesirable as well... For the interest of China itself, recently it is under the pressure of RMB appreciation. But obviously, RMB appreciation will definitely do harm to Chinese export industry. Sell USD, this is a method to cut down the domestic money reservation and release this pressure subsequently.... Well ,this is just my guess. but maybe it's true.

So I say actually China is pretty smart, not only because I'm a Chinese.

anyway ,it might be too early to say which direction of USD will go, but I think the wise action is to prepare for another breakthrough and rise followed......
