I confirm that Pip_Boxer EA set had a great day yesterday. My demo trading resulted 237 pips, you can see it on the image attached.

Thank you Al for sharing your EA with us!

I continue with the forward testing for a couple of weeks, I am about posting my statements at the weekends.

OK, here are my 2+pips in context...

This week my closed PipBoxer trades on 5 pairs are 287 pips. 10 wins, 1 loss from Nov19 to this post. Also showing +61 float (+63, -2).

Some of you know i've been testing MT4 EAs for some time now (from Aug 2006) and attempting to meld Man and Machine. Included in the testing has been the typical great EAs. Then along cam PipBoxer. . .

For myself, PB matched my style of breakout/boxplay trading as this is the very algorithym chosen for the EA to base its entries from (Aparsi can help clarify if i botch this up). Many of the other "Famous" EAs i could not realy get fully behind confidence wise as their entries were not a model i would normaly choose in live trading. That does not make them "bad", just not so easy for me emotionaly. I know that EAs are supposed to allow one to detatch themselves from the trading. My problem, and it is part of my personality, is that i'm nearly ANAL about understanding life! If i can't understand something, i'm not confident, when i'm not confident, i tend to muck things up!! This is an EA style (breakouts) that i can get behind and let do its thing without much intervention. I am sort of trigger happy right at the moment as there is a GBP trade that is open at +63 pips and the TP is 20 pips away with 20 pips locked in...but i'll let the EA do its thing and not close it out in profit.

OK, sorry, my ramble. I know that Aparsi can not "recommend" this EA and must have the disclaimer. What i can say is it seems very conservative and plods along nicely. And this is not even one of its better weeks for me!

Cheers,
Thom

+200 pips in about 36 hours. 7 winners, 2 losers. First trade 11-23 at 2:30 GMT+2, two open trades closed by hand just now for the weekend. Alpari Demo, statement attached.

Nice system so far, I'm running it again next week in demo mode. I also agree with accrete's comments as well. I like the basic concept behind this EA.

Thanks very much. Great results. The system is not always that good but it's been good to my live account so far. I had a loser week that I lost 108 pips but in general I've made over 500 pips in 6 weeks which is good.
