Hi New Member,
indicators mean nothing in my trading and I do not follow them. Sometimes I test something, often my charts are completely clean.
Key levels are crucial in my trading and today you can see another confirmation of their powerful action, here below!

As Dutchy wrote in his journal, ther's a tight range in US markets after 3 days long weekend.

This means:
1. they are starting with some rollover games: or
2. they will break (up or down, who knows) this strict range after European official close; or
3. they remain this way till US official close, waiting for someone, something new......

No trades for me for now.
I keep holding my DAX CFD 15696, and dont need for now take additional risks after a good day, so far......

Then I'm not in the mood to buy or sell FDXS/FDXM anymore, taking into account they will be expired next days......

No futures rollover or better say at very low level in US for now (zero activity in Europe).......

  1. It seems DAX is following typical September pattern (early month dip)
  2. Anyway Quarter Sept expiration (next 15 Sept) has been often on the upside. We'll see....
  3. I have no time tthis morning for trading/posts, I will do my best while I'm holding my 696 DAX CFD
  4. Probably I will add something below and well below 700 zone, if I have the chance
  5. If yd lows 690 zone will not hold, next station stands at 600/570 zone

Hi Brixen, just wondering do you hold a cfd in a declining market just incase there is a bounce to avoid chasing price on a day trade? I guess also as a reference point.

  1. I cant trade DAX Futures on rollover weeks, risk is high to be forced to close positions on expiration in sight
  2. I try to stay light small positions, reducing at every decent rebound
  3. Historically Sept Quarter expiration was on the rise (maybe not this year, who knows)
  4. I have no balls to go short at these prices. where DAX always rebounded last weeks

Last trade is another perfect example where intraday trend is on heavy sell side, but the reaction from KEY LEVEL squeezed out most shorts on a sharp up wave rise.
