Why do I got this deep down hunch that today will be the start of the end of the carry trade... and before you guys get angry with me... i wanna emphasize this is just a hunch that I myself feel after playing the market for a bunch of years...thats all
what do you guys think..??

"Greenspan on the wires today" and "China saying they WON'T go capital gain tax" may have inspired your hunch....

This is a mumbo jumbo + LLIIIAAARRRRR event. But we will only know next week...

I would tend to agree, UJ is finding it hard to crack through 122.

Forget the "mumbo jumbo" just look at GJ 1hr chart, Perfect double top from the 25th

It's not wisdom... I have noticed this kind of move every Friday... Would it be traders to collect interest during the weekend? I don't know...

Nor I expected to really reach 242, but 20 pips from it is close enough...

please guys, keep on going short, we need sellers in the market. We cant all be long, rite? I dont mind the apocalypse comments, but it really scares me how can some people still be so blind and eager to risk everything they have on hunches. I did the same some time ago.

I say it for the last time - while you are waiting for GY to fall to 220, why not go long , win and get swap and use acceptable stops which in the case of the downfall u are all waiting for, wont ruin your account and besides, you will still have the nice profits from the bull runs. My god...

Sold at 241.80 which seems to be a pretty heavy resistance area. The G/Y has tested once and couldn't break. The 45 level has also been tested multiple times and has not seen a clear break and is also January's swing high. Trying to make some quick pips by putting my PT at 241.45. What do you guys think?

yeah...anyway, i cant stop to thank u for open my mind a while ago. Just trying to help others too.

What I dont get is why if NFP was so good, USD CAD fell so sharply. EU is still stuck in that god damn range and GU cant pass over the 50 fib level of the recent down move. UY didnt break much above 122, so Im really curios which one will drive GY above 242 for now. Anyway, Im really happy with the profits I made this week. Maybe the first week in the green for me.

Suicidal... Gu is attempting new intraday high / break of yesterday's high. If succeeds, you're toasted.

Thank god u didnt put TP at 221 In my opinion, the momentum now seems still strong, so it can be risky. Im sure there are plenty of stops lurking above 242, so GY might try to give you a quick death kiss above before retracing, so be careful and dont give your hard earned pips to people like Cesarnc or others who TRADE WITH THE TREND. Im out already - I used a TP , unfortunately.
